    730nm PICOWAY will do an amazing job on ALL Greens when using the right spot size to target depth, while avoiding strain on the basal cell or germinative layers. A blessing to us in the industry where greens have notoriously have taken 10+ treatments with 694nm, early 755nm QS, or PicoSure 755nm.

    Doctor what is your opinion on the Enlighten 3 laser? Can this be beneficial with removing green ink?

    Is there a place in the industry for blue/green removal specialists?

      It will be very difficult to become just the blue green specialist because the lasers are very expensive and not every tattoo has blue or green in it and the lasers that target them tend to not be capable of being used on all skin types

    My tattoo removal got 4 sessions and 70% removed, but it became green. I went to the next session, the Dr tried and told me that the laser wasn't absorbing. He did not charge for this session and I don't know what else to do.

      I would look for a place that either has a Q switched or pico second alexandrite laser 755 or a Q switch to a pico Ruby, Laser. I would explain that nothing bad has happened to the tattoo because people get concerned picking up someone else’s removal process what’s happened to you is there are many different particles in modern ink and you’ve either uncovered some green particles or something and they’re oxidized to green which means you’re going to need a laser that’s going to target green your doctor was perfectly correct when he said it didn’t look like it was absorbing the laser any longer to get green out. You need the Alexandrite or the ruby laser I would most certainly bet that their laser is a YAG laser, which is very common.

    Hello Doctor. Could you talk about the recent ban on blue and green pigments in the European Union? I understand that the ban occurred because they found traces of cyanide and benzene after subjecting these pigments to ultra violet light (correct me if I'm wrong). I have a small fine line tattoo on my arm and it's blue ink. I really want to take it off, but I'm afraid of putting my health at risk, especially since I don't know if the ink used on my arm has azo elements. Can something happen to me if I use the laser on my tattoo having azo elements? Thank you in advance, doctor, there is a lot of information on the internet and I no longer know how true what I see is.

      Give me a few and I will check this out for you. In the US we don’t have this ban yet.

    Could you share more info on green tattoo removal on darker skin

      Good idea I will do that because the lasers required for green are all very harsh on darker tones.

    I was told that there is no laser that works on dark skin to remove green or red ink. Is that true doctor?

    • @DrUndoTattoo
      @DrUndoTattoo  Год назад

      That’s not completely true.
      The problem lies in the lasers required to remove. Those two colors are very well, absorbed by melanin meaning the odds of you being left with a white area or a hypopigmented area, where the red and the green ink Wass is very high, the probability of it happening with a green rank is higher than it happening with a red because the green ink would require either in Alexandrite, Lisa, or , a ruby laser, both of which are very aggressive on darker skin tones. The red on the other hand would need a 532KTP laser which can take out red without harming the dark skin. They just have to be very low in the laser energy just enough to make your red tattoo get slightly foggy and then wait a good 12 weeks to treat it again.
