... Here is the easiest one: Just colonise the skies of Venus. Produce graphene from the air. Use the heat differential between the lower air layers and the upper ones as a power source. One such sky city will be effectively meaningless... But populate that sky with them? They will both raise the heat albedo, and constantly remove atmospheric mass. Nitrogen will be collected, and be sold out along with the extra graphene. Add in a space miror, shade and an EM generator system that simulates Earth Day-night cycle and give a planetary EM Field replacement... Now all you need is to add Hydrogen. The easiest way to do that with contemporary tech would actually be to star lift it out of the sun. Plus capturing the solar wind and filtering it from that. By placing habitats and the like at the lagrange points, you can actually capture *a lot* of it. And you don't have to do it fast. You only need to put a step on it when when Venus begins to actually cool down. Which will be dacades.
Why are all of these comments like “this is is a bad idea and will never work, stay on earth” I mean, do these people hate the idea that humans will expand and eventually need more than earth
Is Venus the best choice for terraforming?-no it is not as it would cost more than just money it would get people killed and machinery destroyed as the environment is far to harsh for us to work in. Mars would also be extremely difficult and would likely fail because of it's environment as well. The thing we must really be concerned with is the only place we can live in and on is right here-earth. Let us put right some of the harm we have done to this planet and stop with magical thinking and escapism with regards to living on planets that do support life when we already live on a life supporting world.
Earth is beautiful but won't last long with an over population, there are so many problems here, the ice caps are melting which means less land, relocation centers, humanity is never gonna survive if not united which we are not. There are so many problems, governments across the globe don't care enough. Not willing enough, the elites care about the elites not the rest of humanity. The idea of a better Earth would be absolutely awesome, would dig down and go up, would Earth become a city world? Will we have flying cities? Will we be able to have enough drinking water, enough food, how many will go homeless? What about the animal kingdom? How many more animals will go extinct? I think the only solution is Artificial Intelligence, it will help a lot to find the answer to solutions we need even transforming other worlds
The lessons from learning how to terraform a Lifeless world to a world life can live on, will be more than enough to Learn how to both fix, and *keeping fixed* the earth. I find that if I bother to ask, those who advocate against space expansion, travel, industry and the like, are also anti-natalists. They will say *to their friends (in forums where they think it will not get out) that Earth already has *too much life on it* because life, all life, is cruel, and sentience if suffering. So all life must end for all suffering to end. Is that true *in your case?*
Ahem we can live in the upper atmosphere of Venus where the temperature and pressure is the same as Earth on floating cloud cities, which is 52km above the clouds and it's 52°F to 130°F in the upper atmosphere, so it's between comfortable and humid but not that humid, plus we can slowly clear the atmosphere with CO2 sequestering plants that take CO2 out of the atmosphere, then release cyanobacteria to terraform the atmosphere of Venus to make the environment breathable, so it can be safe for us to breathe, and one last thing, we don't need a pressure suit to survive in the upper atmosphere of Venus in the far future
I vote for spending the money and reterraform earth. It’ll never work. We can’t leave this planet. Is this was the case, we would already be doing this normally for centuries
Right. If we focus here and keep home base good we will be iight but wouldn’t it be weird if AI is the only one to travel through the galaxy and they made us to give them the tech to get to the next level
@@BlackOutTV_US yup We Should Explore the Galaxy after Reterraforming Earth but we should also explore the Galaxy. It would be weird for just AI to explore the Galaxy.
WHEREMDID YOU FIND THAT VOICE
eleven labs
It was atrocious. And kept changing!

If stay at floating city above Venus maybe possible ..
wed have to speed up its rotation, , thats the primary problem. and thats some next level civilization tech. we aint ready yet.

True
We can live in the upper atmosphere of Venus, where the atmospheric pressure is 1 atmosphere and the temperature is 52 to 130°F

Yes let us look this planet and get it back to being healthy as there is no where else we can live.
I agree that we should Reterraform Earth but after Reterraforming Earth we should Terraform Mars.
Then settle.
