Golf Mental Game Tip: Use The Bounce To Execute A Good Pitch Shot

In this video, I cover a good way to use the bounce properly on your wedges.
The best players in the world chip and pitch the ball extremely well. One reason they do that is because they utilize the bounce properly. It also sounds different off the face when you use the bounce properly because the club hits the ball and turf at the same time.
Without getting too technical, if you focus on keeping the wedge (mainly 60 - 56 degree wedges for this shot) pretty vertical (not too much forward press or not having your hands behind the ball at setup) and focus on sending the energy down through the clubhead when you swing, you will feel the club connect with the turf the way the wedge is designed. It will lessen your chance for the dreaded blade or chunk shot.
