- Just a short Dad Adam edit. I admit, this last episode broke my heart. I do hope the show will fix this and Burzek's relationship, but it's getting hard to remain hopeful when they continue to give them so much heartbreak

Why can't the writers make a happy ending for Adam ,Kim and Makayla . I' sure you know that the same thing happen on Chicago Med. , Chicago Fire losing baby adopting kids then have them gone Engagements come and go . Why can' t Kim and Adam be the exception ?? Chicago PD has great actors and these last few episode were outstanding. Writers that can write story like this can make it happen for Kim and Adam.

Kim is being cruel and selfish. She uses Adam when she needs him, then tells him to go live somewhere else, says Makayla is HER daughter. As Adam said to Kim, “I’m your plan B who sleeps on your couch.” She claims to be doing the best for Makayla. Pulling Adam out of Makayla’s life time and time again is NOT good for Makayla, who has been through so much trauma and instability. I really wonder what Kim says to her to explain why Adam comes and goes.
That pissed me out so much. She iced Adam out of Makayla's recovery plan for selfish reasons. I was really pissed when she said, "that's my daughter" during the kidnap episode. She proved her point by basically kicking him out of her apartment. He's doing everything to show he's in it for the long haul, even before Makayla. She's the one who left him, and yet she treats him as if he left.

After all this Kim threw him out. Her character has become so mean, and all Adam does is keep loving her and protecting her and now Makayla as well. If I didn't want them to be together so much, I would want her to be alone and see how it feels.

Maybe Kim and Adam would make amends, make peace with each other, both be Makayla's parents, and maybe someday pop the question
They seriously need to get rid of Kim either that or have him move on from her because she treats Adam like shit it's seriously time for him to find somebody else who will give him the kind of love that he deserves because Kim obviously doesn't appreciate anything Adam does for her she knows Adam loves her and Makayla and she uses that which pisses me off.
I was really hoping that they would have taken Makayla away from her and given her back to the uncle!! Because she loves to rub the fact that Makayla is not his daughter in his face whenever she gets pissed off at him and that pisses me off!! I seriously think that the only reason she got Adam involved was just to have an excuse to keep him around!!
And my personal opinion if Kim is so high and mighty and thinks she could do it on her own then she shouldn't have never gotten Adam involved in the first place or had him bond with Makayla because in my book she's being selfish.
She won't commit to Adam but yet she wants him around for her convenience which bothers me too. Also, Kim and Adam’s tortured, on again/off again love story has been going on for ten years. Who would go through that for so long in real life? Wouldn’t you expect one of them to have moved on, especially before Makayla came on the scene? I am a huge fan and even I am getting tired of this plot line.
Burzek has definitely been dragged out for way too long. The previous show runner hated them but knew he couldn’t end them. They should have gotten back together last season but that show runner decided to focus on the others before he left. Everyone is tired of the back and forth - the show needs to just put them together. The fans and the actors (who want it just as much) have waited long enough. No one wants them dragged out any longer. And there is also a disconnect between what the writers think we as viewers are seeing versus the storyline that is actually coming across to the audience (i. e. the way Kim treats Adam).
@@Burzek_DadAdam I only tune in to check on them and every time I see it's just more fuckery. The show needs a stable couple, something the viewers can rely on. I always think back to csi New York and Lindsay and Danny. The viewers know they are guaranteed at least one happy ending so the show doesn't lose itself to the gore and drama. If there's no fail safe the show is just stressful and upsetting

They did but then Kim suffered a miscarriage a few episodes later. She adopted Makayla in season 8 and named Adam as the custodian. He stepped up and helped take care of her after Kim got shot. Now, they are together and raising her and she calls them mom and dad.
