Vancouver Island has some of the oldest and most beautiful rainforest in the world!
Fortunately - this rain forest ) is very near a road. You can drive there and walk the forest easily! :) (Cathedral Grove MacMillan Park, is located on central Vancouver Island, 25km west of Qualicum Beach and 16km east of Port Alberni on Highway 4

As soon as I step foot in one of these magnificent ancient old-growth forests... I feel as right as rain. Have you been to Cathedral Grove? or any of Vancouver Islands rainforests? Some of these trees are over 1000 years old!
