I didn't find the pictures on the iPhone necessarily more "pleasant". The S10 holds up pretty well, although I would have deactivated scene optimiser though. Video stabilisation in 4K is superior on iPhone.

Love them both for different reasons, I use both phones for photos and videos on my other YT travel channel and I can confirm that the stabilisation on the Samsung is not that great compared to the Iphone, it looks more choppy, its not very important to me because I use a gimball when shooting with Samsung in 4K 60 or 30fps. For cinematic videos I use more the Iphone, video is much more stabilised ,better and bigger sensor and it has the 24fps standard option. The only Samsung which beats Iphone 12 Pro in the camera department is the Samsung S21 which does have a great stabilisation aswell.

Something I've criticised Samsung for before, Apple has copied it. In video department I totally agree with you again, iPhone gives an excellent cinematic look with it's video, while Samsung's looks more choppy in comparison, specially in 4k, unless you're using super steady mode or a gimble. 👍🏻
I have the normal S10 since May 2019 and I'm not planning on upgrading anytime soon. The battery still holds up, the camera is amazing and the performance is smooth as hell. It is truly one of the best phones ever made.

I like the S10 more because most of the times the pictures look warmer than on the IPhone 12 but when focusing on objects on the IPhone 12 I really prefer the background blur
When the s10 got more saturated look, he likes the more natural look of the iphone, but when the iphone got more saturated, he now likes the more alive look of the iphone. 😅

I have an S10 and tbh Im not impressed with the battery. It doesnt last a whole day and i had to buy a powerbank. I have the Exynos version tho idk about the SD.

I got an s10e for £190 almost new and the iPhone photos look a little better especially at night but there really is not much in it, not £550 worth! I am surprised as I assumed the big lenses on the iphone were a game changer. You can also adjust the warmth/coolness of colours anyways I think the S10 colours are a bit too warm I'd rather warm them manually.
Recently i found out those "lenses" arent actually that big, if you looked closely in the lenses theres a tiny dot in the middle. That's the real camera.
S10 is actually the best of all, am still using s10+ till date and I think the s10 camera 📷 is still better than the newer version of the iPhone 12 though.
