It's great, but one MAJOR failure. The Sygic(?) navigation app that you run with the TFT does not support GPX import. This is literally a deal breaker for many serious touring riders or those that enjoy long complicated rideouts and don't want to add a million waypoints or destinations every ride or want to use a GPX route supplied by a friend; and don't want an ugly phone or Garmin stuck to the handlebars, which defeats the object of having a TFT GPS in the first place. Every app (Beeline, Scenic, MyRoute-App, BMW Connected) supports import of GPX files. Please fix this critically important oversight ASAP Ducati!
Obviously. If you want more detail of a road, you have to buy a Garmin Zumo. But if you connect your phone with the Bluetooth, you can use every tracker app you want
@@TheYMCA1980 A Garmin has no more road detail than the Sygic app running through the TFT. Connecting your phone to any other tracker app is irrelevant to the point made, that the official Sygic app should work well with the Ducati app and it simply doesn't. E.g. It doesn't support GPX import and when synching from the Sygic website, the phone app will incorrectly resequence waypoints, making it totally unusable on the TFT. Currently, I have six open issues logged with Sygic's technical support team (for months), who seem less than useless. Not good enough on a motorcycle costing over $30k out the door.
Im from the days that when we were gong to Jerez GP from Portugal, the guys with Ducatis always got stuck along the way, so, um just guessing but in a rainy day i suspect when you turn the bike on you start seing a bunch of yellow and red lights flashing 😄
My joystick won’t work when I press left but works on the other directions. So I can’t return back from menus. I will seek help from the Ducati dealer.
