Blazing kick does more damage after the counter hit sweep now I think. The ws 1,2 in combos is cool, gonna test with that later today. I was doing 3 b2 loops into b1:1f screw, but your thing might be more dmg idk
during mist step if you tap back near the end of the step he will go into a backsway, and during the start of the backsway he counts as being in the while rising state so if you properly time the back then the 1,2 you will get it every time, it sounds much harder than it is, try to think of it as b2, forward, neutral, back, neutral 1,2
I can’t believe street fighter links, helped me with b2 loops, I could never do them in 7, but now I understand the timing is exactly like links, I can do them easily. Man this is why fighting games are lit, the shit that carryovers from game to game.
It helps that it's actually easier to do in Tekken 8. Tekken 7 lee is a lot more clunky and strict on everything. They made lee easier like every other character. He just retains a little bit of his execution. Honestly I don't even think you need all that stuff. Some optimal combos are just B2,4,3 with B2 whiffing and no need to use iWs2,3 screws/bounds/whatever they are called in Tekken 8, because f4,2 is just as good (with the "just frame" version just being you pressing the buttons without delaying). And you can end the combos with df3,2,4 or simply f2,1. The new B2 is actually fkn up my muscle memory timing.

You might be making the same mistake as me. There were two of them 1 - I tapped back too soon after entering mist step 2 - I pressed 2 too soon after pressing back. There's a small delay that needs to happen before you hit 2
He meant that you have to delay the iws 1,2 just a bit after the first b2. You can do the 4u3,b2 as fast as you can, but then the upcoming iws 1,2 needs to be delayed just a tad. That makes sure that the rest combos

Guess starting in the deep end, but anyways where can I find out what the star and the stuff in the blue boxes mean
Star = Neutral (not pressing anything) WS = While Standing ( In Lee's Combos, you do this by pressing B during mist step, u will see a backsway animation, do the WS moves from there. Tail Spin = When the opponents body has their legs up and their backs on the ground. colon = Just frame input. You can ignore this since it may be difficult for new players. Tell me if something is confusing 😆

BUT! if you change it to: b2 step b2 step ws1,2 step ws2,3 It is much more consistent, albeit slightly harder to execute. Have fun man.

Its kind of finnicky but thats whats worked for me. hopkick > micro step right > 4,3u > b2 > ws1,2 > b2 > f4,1
Can someone explain to me the combo at 0.57? After ch down 3+4, he enters hitman stance (of course) so he can't really go back 3,3. Do I have to cancel the stance somehow?

Use the new combo filler, we need to move on from T7 combos😂. Instead of 4x b2 loops do 1 b2 into ws1,2 into b2 into ws2,4 and use bb4 into ff3 as an ender, looks super cool and does more damage. Works with df2 and uf4 but something wiffs and if you don't want to risk it just remove the second b2 and it will connect. You also have to delay the second part of the ff3 a bit or else it won't connect.
Highest damage so far I've gotten from df2 has been df2, bb4, (dash) d2, (b2~f) x2, WS 1,2~f WS 2,3 (S!), (dash) bb4, ff3 - 72 dmg. Seems to be consistent but it's hard.

I dont recommend doing the 4x b2 loops anymore, there are easier and more dmg combos. WS = while standing Tailspin = State of the enemy character when their legs are up and backs are on the ground. 2 dota = Just frame. You can watch Miirio's video about lee just frames.
Victor combo: 2,2,2,2,2 screw, 2,2, auto stance 2,2. Lee mains: "we have the whole controller, we are gonna USE THE WHOLE CONTROLLER.... Not that we have a choice".
2:05, or if u hit high wallsplats like ws2,3 or hms2, u can do 4u3, f4:1, hms u4, ub3. Basically for wall splats, u can do screw moves for re wallsplat.

A tip for fellow Lee mains; You can add bb4 before RA atfer tornado up to 7hit tornado. EX)df2 - 4u3 - b2f - wr1,2 - wr2,3 - (t) - dash bb4 - RA
Seems to be a bit unstable if you add one hit more (EX) df2 - 4u3 - b2f - wr1,2 - b2f - wr2,3 - (t) - dash bb4 - RA
A tip: wr= while running
While rising is =ws aka ex "while standing".

How do you get the combo at 0:38 to connect? I keep dropping the tailspin f4,1 after the final b2 step. I have tried with hop kick and FC uf4
Also the f3,3,3,3,3... combo I cant get the final f2,1 ender after the last b2, step

It's not d3+4, it is d3,4. You can cancel hitman stance by holding back, when he moves his left arm do b3,3f.

You can do WS2,3 FF3 Heat Dash 4,U3 B2 WS1,2 WS1,2 WS2,3 Tailflip B2 RA for 106 Damage or you can replace the B2 before RA with BB4 & get 109 Damage

Just get his easy stuff right like normal combos, punishment and gameplan. After that you can do the hard stuff because lee can be played without it
