@@iya3952 me too, I'm seeing the play next month in LA, there is no way that it will be as good as it is portrayed in the movie, especially the last scene.
@@simonanderson4858 It's funny you bring that up because the film with Andrew Scott was playing at The Museum of Modern Art where I live about a month ago for a week and I wasn't able to see it. I've read some reviews of it, they are mixed, but I am curious about it and I'll stream it on Netflix or Amazon and check it out. I'll let you know what I think 🙂.
@TheatreDarling Yes! Lucky me!! I happen to have a good life and don't sit home feeling sorry for myself and cry over ''what might have been.'' I hope you do to!! Be well!👍
@TheatreDarling You have no idea what battles i've fought, and am still fighting to live a good life. I don't wallow around in self pity because of them.
I will tell you the story of Uncle Jesus in 10 seconds: Jesus lived for 33 years. Then he came to Jerusalem and got himself crusified. Now ask me why is he so famous?

@@davidsheriff9274 Did you see it? Watch 'Vanya', played by Andrew Scott for the National Theatre. Sublime.

0:39 Waffles was a landowner nearby who, when his luck went bad, was taken in by Vanya’s family. None of the women drink.

That was some outline of story. Thanks
Perfect
I stopped feeling sorry for any of them early on. They all live lives of ''quiet desperation'' and I couldn't relate.

@TheatreDarling You've decided to diagnose me from this exchange? And you'd like me to look inward for empathy because of my critique of a play?😅
haha :D thanks!

There's no plot they just needed to get a job or a hobby
Ironic since characters would always say they must work, they must work
Why is it so famous?
