Most broken tcg ever. In 10 years most battle will probably be finished in 1 turn or 2 given the possibilites of how much you can do with card effects and all kinds of different special summons now.
@michaelm8529 idk about that. In some ways powercreep is inevitable as there's only so many combonation of letters you can write on cards, but at the same time magic the gathering has been going for longer and has suffered less from it so its certainly possible to mitigate. Heck in mtg the vintage format is way more powerful than the modern format and most of that difference power level comes from older cards. Technically speaking outside of some edge cases most card types have gotten weaker in more recent sets, except creatures which were trash in the first sets XD.
@@dumatrising2421 difference being that other card games have energy at their core so there's a universal limit. @@michaelm8529 sure but also the old cards suffered the same constraints, and were talking relative power creep not the comparative power of separate card games. We can still view cards as how good are current cards vs old card. It used to be WORSE. For a while, a lot of decks were built around a 0 turn kill - you choose to go second, then activate the effects of cards in your hand to do a bunch of stuff to beat your opponent during _their_ turn. And if it wasn't that, it was all Lockdown decks that would prevent the opponent from playing Spells and Traps, using Monster Effects. attacking, summoning, or literally doing anything other than forfeiting the game.
@@OtakuUnitedStudio There's no possible way to ZTK and you never have been able to. I'm guessing you're talking about Firewall format, the year and a half time period after SPYRAL format and before TOSS where various ways to FTK with Firewall dragon was the only thing anyone was doing. But it's impossible to ZTK other than opening Exodia, as almost all burn and draw cards can only be activated on your turn. Even if you hypothetically summoned 3 Blaze Phoenix on your opponent's first turn using the Tear cards you wouldn't be able to activate their effects so you still would lose.

One to swap monsters with each other and other to sacrifice any vegata monsters to replace the switched monster into krillin but is faced down. Krillin's effect is when destroyed, sacrifice Goku and place Super Saiyan Goku on the field

Total “uh-oh” moment when I saw it 🤣
There was a missed oportunity there for the newcomer to say "respond with what?" as playing cards from your hand to negate (ash blossom) is another shocker.
I attest as a returning player of a 15+ year hiatus I approve the accuracy of this video. I was literally in a duel like "when is it my turn?" "How is he summoning so many monsters?" "How can he make moves during my turn?!?" Good times. Now I'm God Tier Blackwing
Now you can make many moves during yours and their turn.
"OH cute, you're just coming back?" *plays aroma garden deck and gains 200000000000 life*
I gave up trying to learn. I literally cussed my friend out that was trying to teach me when he start talking about link summons
This was me trying to learn how to play during the lockdowns. I ended up buying 2 older decks and had way more fun. I play for the nostalgia.
I've played the new way and old way recently. By far enjoy the original way more.
Goat format is fun
If I ran into a player like this, I'd switch out my deck if I had a different one immediately after realizing the difference in playstyle.
Yeah, I left around Lightsworn and the introduction of Pendulum summoning. The power creep was ragequit inducing.
