I had a teacher just like Ann Sullivan but I could never accomplish what Helen did.
But I learned so much.
I’ve only accomplished a very small step(reading and writing,but no math skill’s,unfortunately!]compared to what Helen Keller did in her life!Or,as a 📕 book seller told me in;Park Rapids,Minnesota,she’ll accomplish more than I have ever ✔️ done!
I regret that I never had the chance to meet her (not that I'm famous, just saying), but she died days before I was born. She is one of my heroes.
She certainly met the cream of the crop in her lifetime. I was especially moved when she was in the dance studio with Martha Graham. Martha was attempting to get Helen to get a feel for dance movement. Helen was on a quest to experience as much life as possible.
This was just absolutely awe inspiring!!! Such beauty & grace. I love how each & every famous person she met was so warm, kind, & loving towards her. I'd have felt honored to have met such a woman! Thank you for teaching the world new things, Ms. Keller! You may be gone, but you're not forgotten. ♥

Oh, thank you for sharing the beauty that was/is Ms. Helen Keller! Such a graceful woman, someone the girls today NEED to know about & have her as their idol! The world would slowly, but surely turn into a beautiful place once again. ♥

Such a beautiful film, Wow, Am so touched! I could she even visited the emperor of Japan, as i could see, who thought of himself as a god, and was so picky, amazing! and the dancing scene in the end almost made me cry. what a unique person she was, God bless her soul.

This video had me mesmerized! Not just for the people in this video. Indeed, Miss Keller met some remarkable people. As great as many people think it was for Miss Keller to meet; I couldn't help but think that they, meeting her, was the honor! All of their accomplishments, in my opinion, pale in comparison to what Miss Keller accomplished! Still, it was fun and interesting to watch who she was rubbing elbows with!

Helen was quite the socialite wasn't she? It is truly wonderful that she could 'represent' for people with disabilities. The music was very beautiful with rich contemporary sonorities! A very inspiring soundtrack for our very inspiring Helen Keller! I hope you have a wonderful and inspiring spring Helen! The days are getting longer here, and although the snow will be here for a few months more, i'm already getting excited for spring :o) Trying to live in the moment, but, in winter, hope is the active word :o)
Hi Michael. Yes, It's amazing how many well known people Helen Keller knew. She was quite an active letter writer, and maintained contact with a lot of famous politicians, business men, professors, actors,writers, etc... I've always liked the background music "Song for Athene", since it was played at Princess Diana's funeral. The daffodils and certain flowering shrubs are blooming in my garden, and the frogs in the creek near my house are starting to croak at night...so I guess it's starting to turn Spring here. It brings back memories to hear you talk about Winter, like you do. Such as referring to "Hope" etc... :)) Your attitude reminds me of myself, When I lived in Northern N.Y. many years ago.. Winter will be over soon, then you can enjoy a nice Summer. But I dread Summer here , because it will be 95 to 100 or warmer every day for months, and it may only drop down to 80 at night. Plus The biting insects and poison snakes are a real issue here. So I guess regardless if it's North or South, everyplace has it's good and bad points. Anyway, thanks for stopping by. @@IamHelenKeller Thank you. Yes there are some older videos floating out there and none of the others I've seen have 'named attibutes' for any of the people seen in the pictures / news reels. So, unless you were familiar with the faces already you'd be hard pressed to identify the people strightaway on your own.

fantastic, there was some interesting changes in the "feel" of some of the clips. some seemed more relaxed then others, more informal. so many people wanted to meet or greet Helen and I am sure there many different reasons that they would want too. I wonder though what reasons you might think of?
