This music video reminds me of the movie Twilight where a young lady falls passionately in love with a boy and finds out that he is a vampire despite the warnings of others, they get married and later in the latest sequel to the movie Twilight Bella gives birth to a baby for Edward. But the birth is so difficult that Bella dies in childbirth while Edward tries to save Bella of the spirit but despite the efforts Bella dies but her heart starts beating again and she a new life but she has become a vampire.

Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality...
Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is:
A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures.
Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing...
The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details.
As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone!
The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The iron mask may be related to the popular perception of the mask worn by Baldwin IV of Jerusalem, known as the Leper, who was king of Jerusalem from 1174 until his death (In fact, Baldwin did not wear an iron mask to cover the severe deformities caused due to leprosy, he wore a kind of veil). King Baldwin was a fair man and was even recognized by his enemy Saladin in the crusaders' fights against the Muslims: Baldwin and Saladin made a truce agreement that would last 2 years!

It’s a cross between Interview with a Vampire, and Thriller. The music has a mix of rhythm and blues, gospel, pop rock. It is definitely a refreshing style to come from Dimash. I suspect he’s aiming for the western world market. I love it.

Thank you. The music at the beginning and end is a 1915 recording of 'The Flower Duet' from the 1st act of the tragic opera "Lakme" composed by Leo Delibes. The soprano is Maria Alexandrovna Mikhailova (1864 - 1943) and the Mezzo soprano is Antonia Ivanovna Panina (1870 - 1941) Love the R&B/soul/blues/rock vibe.
Dimash has great respect for MJ but he is his own performer. He has a similar soul talent. This video is for fun and variety. Cant find a better vampire than Dimash. He can bite me any day!

The co-star is a famous athlete who's turning to acting, and the butler is a famous Brazilian dance instructor. The prelude-exit music is from the opera, "Lakshmi" (thus the imagery of Kali, the Hindu goddess of destruction and creation).
