Why should Europe or the US risk a nuclear war, where millions of people would die, for a country that most people couldn't even locate on a map until a few years ago? It was clear from the beginning of the conflict that Russia had a significant advantage in terms of time and resources. Anyone with a rational mindset would have recognized this, while only those who were unaware believed that Western technology, money, and sanctions alone would suffice. What a waste of lives, infrastructure, well-being, and money. Western politicians, namely the EU, UK, and US, should be ashamed of their incompetence and short-sightedness. Instead of prolonging this war with weapons and sanctions, they should have focused their energy on achieving a diplomatic solution.

@JohnJohnson-n3n The Russian military has nearly doubled in size. Check your facts. And although the Russians have lost a lot of equipment, it's not nearly as much as Ukraine's simps claim and their industrial ability to replace them is extraordinary. They've also learnt how to dramatically reduce the effectiveness of many Western weapons systems, despite the occasional failure, compare that to Western air defences that are proven highly ineffecting against Russian attacks. Another key reason why Russia is stronger now is that they've gained much experience whilst removing various incompetent or incapable military officers, unlike the West where the cream doesn't rise to the top ( just look at Petraeus, Austin, Hodges, Kirby, Milley as good examples of promoting fools over quality)

Merkal admitted Minsk 2 was a sham to allow the west time to do this All Zelensky has to do is look on NATO's web page where it states a country cannot join while in conflict
The diplomatic reverbarations. If the EU and NATO go all in with Ukraine. Countries allied with Russia will wash their hands of both Ukraine and the West. Since there's no other option (with their economies facing near bankruptcy), it is VERY likely that ANY means of inciting "Regime Change" will be definitely on the table, and that certainly still includes long range strikes within "traditional" Russia. Never forget there are those in the UK and the US who are quite convinced "they" can "win" a nuclear conflict with Russia; the massive loss of people is regarded as a "feature" rather than a "bug".

September 14, 1812 Napoleon Bonaparte enters an abandoned Moscow with some intense fire in the central part. When the mayor of Moscow left he activated an ancient defense devise. It let forth terrible smoke that blackened the façade of buildings and French soldiers were consumed with starvation and lung disease. It was not a normal fire but more like a melt down. Those still alive left a month latter deprived of battle and health. Napoleon died a decade later of stomach cancer. Russia has fought 100's of wars and still exists. So what makes Zelenskyy think he is special? Does he think NATO would change anything?
And it makes a whole lot of sense until gold shoots up to $2,623.70 an oz.

When economies & productivity across Europe are in tatters, I don't see a problem with giving Ukraine another $40 billion to fight "evil" Putin, and getting European governments to guarantee those unpayable loans - What could possibly go wrong.
It's a small amount for letting Ukranians fight the Russians, so we don't have to.
Works for US, works for EU.

The Russian military has destroyed a German-made Leopard 2 tank in Russia’s Kursk Region, as Ukraine’s ill-fated attempt to hold on to Russian territory drags on. Video footage shows the tank suffering multiple hits from kamikaze drones.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that more than 500 casualties had been inflicted on Ukrainian forces throughout Kursk Region in the preceding 24 hours. Two Leopard tanks, four Swedish-made CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles, and dozens of other armored vehicles and pieces of military equipment were destroyed in the same period, the ministry stated. - RT

"... focused their energy on achieving a diplomatic solution"
And what then? Spend money "without control" for healthcare, education, a better life for the elderly and children?
No, no it will not work that way.
OMG
AMEN brother...❤
This conflict has little to do with logic and common sense. It's purpose was to regime change in Russia so that US can move on to the last enemy, China. US MIC has made huge profits, politicians made huge bucks, why stop.
This is the result of the capture of US foreign policy by a small cabal of Chosen People who have dual citizenship and seem to be representing the interests of their masters, not the EU or USA populations.
Dont kid yourself the westerners with Ukraine flags in their bio still cant find it on a map. But they are absolutely sure its worth WW3.

Western capitals need to ask Zelentskiy Voidskull if you lose the conflict with Russia and that your citizens want to leave. Where will they go?Who is going to pay their housing, schooling, and other cost? Does he realise that people in European countries are finding it hard to get by these days. Last but not least, will he and his mob surrender to the Russians and take full responsibility for the defeat inflicked on Ukraine because of his unwillingness to negotiate on realistic terms.
@roywilding3039 It must be remembered, and recorded, when this all goes to court, that zElensky had signed a peace treaty with Putin, immediately after Russias 🇷🇺 rescue of their Dunbass people within a few weeks after they came, in 22 ,which had been ratified. But Boris Johnson rushed to inform him he wasn't allowed by USUK to Ever stop the war. Thus the signed peace-treaty was torn up! But USUK let them down, because they said they had their back, and would in return, give them everything they needed, and wanted. All that millions of young mens blood, both in Ukraine and Russia falls squarely on USUK warmongers.

I never really thought about it that way- Ukraine is too broke to borrow money. Thats a heck of a predicament to be in. They should have chosen better allies.

@@Peter-Dixonderass Russia under Putin and indeed earlier leaders back to Peter the Great wanted to be part of Europe and looked to Europe. Europe rejected Russian friendship. For example Putin twice asked to join NATO but was told they were the enemy. So when Russia found it was fighting the whole of the west, where to you think they should go? I have very close friends in Germany and they say russian military is stronger now than when the war started
It's grown much larger, too
Its much lower overall quality as far as manpower and equipment from what existed in 2021 with the exception of the drones... Except for a few RU units that maintained their regular to elite status the bulk of the army is at the level of militia with poor logistics. Suitable for "meat attacks" and not much else.
Not necessary to be a German Dichter oder Denker to understand that point.
Only liars and idiots would say otherwise, sadly, they are our leaders
Ukraine promised 300k USD (or Euro, at the time of the broadcast there was parity) for every KIA. Source : French German TV Arte (massively pro Ukraine). So if this conflict continues longer and longer just to pay for the KIA Ukraine will need 15B.

article 5 does not guarantee boots on the ground, each NATO country is free to help how they see fit - it may be troops, it may be military aid, it may be financial aid, in other words what NATO has been doing since 2014 where UA's military was built up, weaponised, funded and trained by NATO to NATO standards. Merkal admitted Minsk 2 was a sham to allow the west time to do this
All Zelensky has to do is look on NATO's web page where it states a country cannot join while in conflict
The diplomatic reverbarations. If the EU and NATO go all in with Ukraine. Countries allied with Russia will wash their hands of both Ukraine and the West. Previous reservations they had over Russian territorial intentions in Ukraine would vanish. Russia would have their agreement to pursue it to the end.
Two days ago a Ukrainian pilot in an F-16 was training over France with two French fighter jets. The Ukrainian pilot had a midair collision and brought down all three jets. 3 less F-16's now.
