Why does apple need OpenAI? To keep up with competition, engrain users further into their ecosystem, and then they'll eventually charge a really small fee after users are hooked even more into the ecosystem.

Lovin' the pump and.... on appl. AI processing is not done on device. It's done at the data center. Just not enough data on a single device to matter. Sell appl on the pop. AI will make the device's memory and processor capabiulities less important. Infrastruicture... as in data centers and network providers is where the growth comes from.

Apple’s integration of AI is understated and underestimated. They make the best and popular mobile computing devices on the planet. One thing that AI will do is improve your workflow. I spend a lot of time searching for apps and getting to the point where I am ready to use it for some purpose. Just telling AI to get me to that point would cut so much time and effort. Creating shortcuts and improving workflow are where I think AI on device will shine. I do think Apple will go with someone other than Google since they are competing in the mobile space. Apple will gladly keep collecting the $20B from Google and let someone else pay them for AI. They can bundle it with existing Apple One service and steadily increase the price of the package. Every $1 they raise in services basically go straight to the bottom line.

1. Tell me y’all know nothing about in-depth market mechanics without telling me.
2. If you legitimately think retail is turning over a 350 mil float multiple times in a week period.. it’s wild you’re in charge of other peoples money. Short interest started this but the whole point is that mm’s like citadel provide liquidity when there otherwise shouldn’t be just to make a fractional spread. And when it goes wrong end they end up on the wrong side of the trade because they can’t find a counterparty, like in 2021, the rules get changed and buying is no longer an option. Basic principles of supply and demand should always hold. Can’t just turn off one side? What logic is that? Not a free market
