This is absolutely sick man! Reminds me a bit of L-wiz with some hits of Joker but with a more modern touch. Kinda has that "Purple" sound/vibe going on you know? At least thats what i felt like it reminded me of.

The chiptuney arps and synth really reminds a lot of what rusko, rustie and joker did in the early 2010s, that with a bit of a jazzy swing to it really makes it sound very unique to what's produced nowadays. Think it was called "wonky" or "skweee" in particular

I said this on the IG page, but I'll say it here too, I was hesitant to hear this since the original is my favorite song ever and I didn't think it could live up to its name. But hearing it now, it's like a completely different experience, such that it's pointless to compare the two. Definitely an interesting approach. It all paid off though, loving the groovy feeling.
