Thanks for watching. I’m sure you saw so much in the Morgan City while on the water. I enjoyed watching the commercial traffic on the river. Best of all was seeing the vessels in production coming down the GIWW.
Very exciting. September is a great month to cruise down the Lake. We entered the River System on October 1 just in time to enjoy the fall foliage and meet so many Loopers heading South. We enjoyed Manistee. ruclips.net/video/J474sNGXAtQ/видео.htmlsi=gCxU-pEcOH8H7M55
You’re welcome. It’s amazing what you can see on the Great Loop. Never could have imagined how spectacular our journey has been. Every day underway is an adventure. Thanks for watching.
Don't know if you watch Mark and Mel on Paradise, but like their commentery on Real Estate as they look around a town since that was/is their profession. Same goes for you with the Coast Guard knowledge and how to navigate crowded waterways
The boat behind us is called a buddy boat. We meet them in Northern Michigan at a marina where we were weathered out a storm for a week then headed south to the next marina in September. We meet up with them again in early December. They were headed to Texas so we traveled together from Houma, LA to Kemah, TX. Our longest buddy boat was 50 days traveling down the River System from Michigan City, IN to Orange Beach, AL Thanks for watching.
Nice video , I was a Tug skipper out of MC and Berwick from 1982 to 1992. Good memories brought back to life.

Thank you. Enjoy your trip. We are starting the loop in September from Manistee Michigan

Thank you for sharing these places I would not ever have the opportunity to see❤️⚓️

Looks very similar to the aerial lift bridge in Superior/Duluth area.
The bridges along the loop are amazing. The older railway bridges over the Mississippi were stunning.

@@johnmarschalk1977 I’ll need to check out Mark and Mel’s channel. I appreciate you watching our videos and commenting.
I see a blue Mainship following y’all, is that a friend or just coincidence?

Is that an AIS on the left showing other boats
Yes AIS. It has been wonderful to have especially on the river and lately on the Gulf Intracoastal with limited visibility due to fog.
Can you tell me make of ais and does it have wifi hotspot
It is an AIT2000 class B AIS transponder. It has a dedicated GPS and VHF antenna though no WiFi
