Indeed, the narrative is normally that the people are suffering and oppressed due to the government. But if the people are happy, friendly and accommodating .... then it seems to follow that their government is working for them.
The government has a 93% approval rating the US less than 30% go figure 🤷🏼♂️
He's living in China for 15 years, yet fails to make the connection that the government plays a crucial role in the satisfaction of Chinese people, for their continuously improving standards of living, and for increasing levels of independence from aggressive NATO-aligned bully countries.
Well, now I understand why he barely speaks the language after living there for 15 years. He's built himself a nice comfy bubble that hinders him from understanding the world more. Hope he can adjust that. He's missing out if he stays in his bubble.

Most foreigners in China are enjoying living there mostly because they receive foreigner privileges from the Chinese, besides their money can get more than in their home countries. Not the same for Chinese people living in the west where they are disrespected, discriminated against, and even get abused, just the opposite to foreigners living in China. Imagine if Chinese in the west were speaking Chinese to the local people and expecting them to reply in Chinese, but this is what English speaker foreigners do in China, they speak English in full sentences to the local old people, then expect them to understand and reply in English .
If the Chinese government is bad it's impossible that China can develop so advanced and pulled the people out of poverty in such a short period
50% people love CCP, 90% people admit CCP is absolutely capable of governing, and 99% people love this country.
The white old man said: "you may hate Chinese government, but Chinese people are good". Still saying these arrogant and condescending things. What did the Chinese government do to you, why are you against it. You should be grateful that Chinese governmtent welcomed and accepted you, instead of badmouthing and trying to divide Chinese people and government. Most Chinese people are supportive of the government. It's like saying "You are cool, but i don't like your parents".

The Chinese government has always emphasized that no matter how turbulent international relations are and how bad Sino-US relations are, no harm should be done to foreigners in China, otherwise they will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Western gov.s. are only good at popularity contest. They promise many things, but do very little. Behind the scenes the politicians are concerned about own career. Even good politicians always end up being ditched bc their system is corrupted. China has Meritocracy. This is why Chinese leaders are very smart and wise. Since CPC is the most popular party, Chinese politicians can focus on the wellbeing of the country instead of a popularity contest. Current China system works very well for China! ❤️🇨🇳❤️

Yes, politicians like to create anxiety and make people fear so that they will not find out that politicians are lazy and do not solve the problem. You should go to China, you will be surprised that the quality of life of people there may be much higher than you think. Retired old people in their 50s play chess, sing and dance in the park. Many talented old people are enjoying their time. Young people are very hardworking and diligent. Children are very smart and cute. Totally bullshit. China is open country, and there are always a lot of foreigners live, study or work in this country. But, remember that you must follow the law here. Drug abusing, porn and other stuff which is common in US are not allowed in China.
The Chinese government is our servant, people from the government are the people's brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, and they themselves are the people.

The goetnment is socialist, not cimmunist. Similar to most Scandinavian countries.
LOL no. Scandinavian countries never had a Socialist revolution and are some of the world's most anti-Communist, anti-socialist, and pro-NATO/pro imperialism countries.
They are Capitalist welfare countries that are part of the imperialist core. They benefitted heavily from imperialism. Hence they've enough wealth to grant their citizens some nice stuff like welfare, healthcare, and education. You can't compare that to China which couldn't benefit from Imperialism but was on the receiving end of imperialism and had/has to constantly defend itself from imperialist attacks and manipulation.
Unlike pro-Imperialist, anti-Communist Scandinavian countries which benefitted heavily from the exploitation of the global south and east, China had a real revolution by the people, led by Communists who established an anti-imperialist, Socialist state. They had to build themselves up despite being invaded, attacked, and almost destroyed by numerous imperialist (UK, USA, etc.) and fascist (Japan) forces, which the Communists defeated. Socialism has nothing to do with what Scandinavian countries have or are doing. You need to read up on theory and history.
And the Chinese government DOES aim for Communism in the long run. It's just not something that can be achieved in just a few generations or while imperialist countries are doing everything to destroy the economic progress and unity of anti-imperialist countries. China is in it's very early stage of Socialism and it's a long, long road to Communism. Communism is defined by a massive abundance of everything, in a system where capitalists don't hold the means of production hostage and use it against the people, and the massive abundance of everything makes it possible for the Socialist state to wither away, as it is not needed anymore to balance the forces of the people with the forces of Capitalists and imperialists. China made steps towards Communism by successfully adapting Socialism to their specific conditions.

Communism is advanced socialism, not a facism. Communism will work in advanced society where robots work for people and automachines are to replace human jobs, when products or service are provided by robots, the government's responsiblity is to distribute these goods or service to people fairly and meet everyone' need. Communism is an idea society, but no country has ever achieved this . China is in a stage of primary socialism. Chinese economy is driven by state capitalism and private capitalism. Capitalism is an economy model to encourage people to invest and put the best use of resource to gain profits. socialism is to balance the poverty gap between the richest and the poorest. how to balance it ? the secret stays the state capitalism and private socialism. China economy or political system is very similar to Singapore, if you can discover the success of singapore, you will understand Chinese economy or political system well.

It looks as or more multicultural than Sydney which is extremely multicultural at that event. You have to understand Beijing has a bigger population then Australia which is almost the size of China.
Oh, no, Australia is about 80% of China's area, but China is very diverse. Many people don't know that there are 56 ethnic groups in China. Yes, China is just very different from Western countries in culture, but China is also very diverse.
True what Iam trying to explain is there so many people from every nation in the world living in China and that Australia is a large country yes you are right 80% of land mass but only 25million or the same population of Shanghai and about 70% live in greater Sydney and Melbourne with about a 150km radius from the CBD.

How could a dictatorial government without freedom allow the economy and technology of a country with a population of 1.4 billion and 56 ethnic groups to develop so fast?
