Browns were officially favored anyway. I think all those many people expecting Cleveland to win may have overlooked season-ending injuries to DT#90 Maurice Hurst and MLB #5 Anthony Walker late in the season, as well as overlooking how critical Dedensive Tackle is to any defense. You can gameplan against a great DE or OLB speed rusher with those short 3-5 step drop backs by the QB, but a great Defensive Tackle is so much harder to deal with. I do believe Defensive Tackle is the most important spot on a football team, a spot where good enough isn't actually good enough.. 2012 49er DT#94 Justin Smith’s injury late in the season at New England on a night game illustrates how critical Defensive Tackle can be, just by looking at 2012 49er defense BEFORE Justin Smith’s injury, and then after it. But it might be OK for a defense to have just a merely decent solid "B-" caliber all-around Defensive Tackle as its best Defensive Tackle, as long as there are atleast TWO of them at that decent level. If you have just one Defensive Tackle as good as decent and none that are better, then I don't care who you have at DE (unless it Reggie White and that you can make him play Defensive Tackle instead) regardless how great your DEs and DBs are, the only way to compensate for just one decent Defensive Tackle (and the rest on the roster are all worse than that) in a 4-3 alignment, the only way to compensate for that would be an extraordinary LB unit (example would be Keyshawn Johnson’s very own 1998 NY Jets). So yesterday, after Cleveland DT#90 Maurice Hurst ended his career season (straight "B" caliber) and ended it late in the season, DT#94 Dalvin Tomlinson faded late in the season (his least productive season in his 7-year career), and DT#96 Jordan Elliott being not so much a has-been, more like a never-was, that left just DT#93 Shelby Harris as the only decent DT left, and without some extraordinary LB unit around to make up for it, Cleveland defense gave up those 24 points in the 1st-half (albeit in all fairness to a high-end passing game).
@@sg6068 Oops, I did not mean it that way. Texans' DTs #96 Maliek Collins and #98 Sheldon Rankins proved to be more durable when they needed to be than Cleveland's Maurice Hurst was this season, and durability and clutch durability is a part of championship football. That's why Houston is moving forward in the playoffs. I knew before the game that from a pass-rushing standpoint, the Texans' 1st-string Defensive Line is as complete a 1st-string Defensive Line as there is in the NFL in that all four of them (including of course DEs #51 Will Anderson and #52 Jonathan Greenard) are dependable pass-rushers. Even though I think their pass-rush could be even better if they blitzed SLB#53 Blake Cashman a lot more, their pass-defense is quite complete with three solid CBs in Nelson, Stingley, and King. I actually think Texans' pass-defense could be even better if 2nd-string Safeties Adrian Amos and Kareem Jackson replaced Jalen Pitre and DeAndre Houston-Carson in the lineup, but that's for another novel. I don't think the Texans have a good run-defense, but I don't think Baltimore and Buffalo do either.

In tonight’s game of Miami @KC, the thought of KC winning last year’s Super Bowl without Tyreek Hill would not be the first time it crossed my mind. The reason 2022 KC did not need WR Tyreek Hill was because the KC Offensive Line of 2021 & '22 was comparable to the greatest NFL Offensive Lines ever (not necessarily as great as, but comparable, and actually may very well have been as great as any in NFL history). Now that KC Offensive Line has inevitably fallen back to the solid level, missing Tyreek is way more evident in 2023. KC absolutely needed Tyreek in 2019 when they won the Super Bowl because back then their Offensive line consisted of a bunch of one -dimensional pass-blocking specialists, except for LT#72 Eric Fisher who was a one-dimensional RUN-blocking specialist. In 2018, Eric Fisher had his career year as a pass-blocker before going back into run-blocking specialist mode in 2019. every KC 2019 Offensive Lineman was one-dimensional, and without a dominant Offensive Line they needed Tyreek. Then in 2021, four new faces arrived to KC O-line. KC 2021 rookie C#52 Creed Humphrey was instantly elite top-of-the-line in 2021 & '22 and fully dimensional as a drive in-line run-blocker as well as run-blocking on-the-move-in-space, and pass-blocking. KC 2021 rookie RG#65 Trey Smith was instantly solid and still is solid and fully-dimensional at all three phases as well. Also arriving in 2021 was former Patriot Guard #62 Joe Thuney who played 2021 & '22 a full level better than solid in all three phases. Also arriving in 2021 was former Raven LT#57 Orlando Brown who played 2021 & '22 half-a-level better than solid in all three phases. KC Offensive Line of 2021-'22 does indeed compare to any in NFL history. Note that perhaps it might be interesting and ironic how #77 Andrew Wylie(now in Washington) was a pass-blocking specialist for 2019 Chiefs before turning into a run-blocking specialist on 2022 Chiefs. But still, 80% of 2022 Chiefs' offensive Line was fully-dimensional (one of the greatest in NFL history) and that's why they were able to win Super VBowl without Tyreek. But this year, C#52 Creed Humphrey in his 3rd year has gone from elite to a level below, the very good level. G#62 Joe Thuney has gone from very good to good, with declining Orlando Brown off to Cincinnati anyway, the 2023 KC Offensive Line has two pass-blocking specialist at LT and RT, while the interior is in between solid and very solid, but no longer elite. That is why 2023 Chiefs would have needed Tyreek as the 2019 Chiefs did.
Have to admit, it still remains to be seen if 2023 Chiefs would have needed Tyreek. That interior fully-dimensional part of their Offensive Line is still strong. Buffalo doesn't have a good LBs anymore after Matt Milano was lost for the season after week 5 and Tremaine Edmunds left for Chicago before the season. KC wins at Buffalo in the Divisional Round.
When RUclips associate told me he is pulling for Cleveland today and asked me who I got, my response was,”Actually Houston is one of just a few teams, to have such a complete Defensive Line, particularly in pass-rush that seemingly nobody knows about. But the NFL World might well have to wait another (or another season) to discover this underrated pass-rushing Houston Defensive Line i(in DEs#51 Anderson and #52 Jonathan Greenard, and pass-rush specialists DTs#96 Makiek Collins and #98 Sheldon Rankins) because all four of Houston's 1st-string Defensive Line have an injury designation (Questionable) attached to their name before today's game. Elsewhere it has been a mistake by Houston this season not to letting SLB#53 Brian Cashman get after QBs, likely not changing that today (I guess). Now if Houston can mount a pass-rush today then they do have three solid CBs in #21 Steven Nelson, #24 Derek Stingley, and #25 Desmond King, note that their 1st-string Safeties (#5 Jalen Pitre and #30 Deandre Houston-Carson) are inferior to backups #0 Adrian Amos and #22 Kareem Jackson. Houston's run-defense is a non-issue for opponents which obviously means their run-defense is a huge issue for Houston's playoff chances. Houston MLB#6 Denzyl Perryman and WLB#48 Christian Harris will not be stopping or containing running games in this January even if SLB#53 Brian Cashman does so, and note that me labeling Houston's DTs pass-rushing specialists, well we know those labels mean their run-defense is garbage as well, as will be Houston's run-defense in general. So even if Houston is able to play with three of their four 1st-string Defensive Linemen today (and that remains to be seen anyway, Houston's lack of run-defense would be the edge that Cleveland needs (although I am scared to look at Cleveland's injury report, considering how many key defensive players they have already lost for the season this season anyway)...
That’s why I acknowledged Houston had as complete a collection of pass-rushers along their Defensive Line as any team in the NFL that nobody knows about, and unlike Cleveland, Houston’s best Defensive Linemen are all 1st-string. Combine that with those three solid Houston CBs, and you are going to be able to play pass-defense. I don’t think I underrated Houston’s run-defense as Cleveland running game this season averaged its fewest yards gained per rush attempt since 2015. Can’t wait to tally up the amount of blitzes from both sides but the two INT returns for TDs likely had something to do with the outcome.
Somebody needs to do and after the weekend tally of the "experts" predictions. Quantification of each game's level of difficulty to be predicted due to factors such as starting quarterback out with injury that Vegas will take a game off betting availability for, etc., weather effect if there is any, or if indoors, crowd noise, etc., technology and/or equipment glitches/malfunctions by the broadcast companies or the league personnel, and then category of how far off the guess was, 1 to 3 points, 4 to 7 points, and on up, and any other categories that each different game might be affected by, so that we can see how closely they had been looking at the teams in the time just before the games. Because Keyshawn and Michael got their battleships blown out of the ocean by their complete whiff of the Texans rout of the Browns.
@@johnathanbrown9068 I'm not so confident in Miami but pretty confident in Tampa Bay. I'm POSITIVE if Cleveland gets past Houston, they will destroy Baltimore.
Yeah windchill is definitely worse because it's unpredictable lol. Idk what Keyshawn is going on about them being the same. Spoken like someone who never really deals with the cold. Lol
Bucs, Browns, Chiefs should win The script: Flacco vs Lamar - Flacco revenge game but fails Chiefs - Keep Taylor Swift on chiefs getting views and the ethnic qb Bucs- Baker gets extension, but loses next round
In Cleveland @Houston, Cleveland's playoff chances increase if LT#69 Leroy Watson plays more than LT#64 Geron Christian & DT#93 Shelby Harris plays more than DT#96 Jordan Elliott. There might be a better chance of those things happening than there is of Miami doing what it needs to do to increase their playoff chances. Miami's best Defensive lineman is 2nd-stringer #93 Da'Shawn Hand, who is not great but he is dependable as both a pass-rusher and run-defender. Miami 1st-string DE#92 Zach Sieler is certainly solid & adept at beating both run-blocking & pass-blocking, but when closing in on the QB, #92 Sieler never raises his arms & hands to atleast attempt to deflect the pass or at the very least obscure the QB's vision (it's the exact same weakness with Dallas pass-rushers #11 Micah Parsons and DT#97 Osi Odighizuwa, they never put up their arms & hands when closing on the QB either). Miami's other 1st-string DE#94 Christian Wilkins is also solid & adept at beating both run-blocking & pass-blocking but if he does raise his arms & hands when closing in on a QB, Wilkins raises his arms-hands way too late. Miami NT#98 Raekwon Davis is a non-issue for opponents. If 2nd-stringer #93 Da'Shawn Hand continues to be out there for just his usual 11-28% of Miami's defensive plays, Miami's defense will never be as good as it could be. In Eagles-Bucs game, Tampa Bay has been mostly playing well on run-defense throughout the season but only have had two formidable pass-rushers (NT#50 Vita Vea and SLB#7 Shaq Barrett), and a truly solid defense needs three formidable pass-rushers, not just two. Tampa Bay may have found their 3rd formidable pass-rushers in WLB#0 Yaya Diaby. Still, it is tough to play well on defense when two of the three 1st-string Defensive Linemen (DEs#90 Logan Hall and #94 Calijah Kancey) are useless. Tampa Bay's defensive secondary is so half-&-half, the great FS#31 Antione Winfield is as great a Center Fielder as there is in the entire NFL right now and CB#35 Jamel Dean is solid enough. But CB#24 Carlton Davis and SS#23 Ryan Neal (both who have had very good to great NFL seasons in the past) are both having throw-away seasons this season. I had at first thought Tampa Bay would beat Philadelphia, but the more I think about it, the more Tampa Bay's offense will have to be one-dimensional, and I do NOT buy into Tampa Bay's recent statistical improvement in Pass-Defense.
As for me not foreseeing Houston’s big lopsided victory today, especially with me knowing what their collection of pass-rushers and three CBs were fully capable of, I never did but into Cleveland having some type of historically great defense (that others were using as a description) because only Myles Garrett is the only one on their defense better than solid. Still, I erroneously called the most complete defense because although I did acknowledge MLB#5 Anthony Walker being lost for the season recently (and felt as though they still had a couple of solid LBs), I didn't acknowledge the late season fade by DT#94 Dalvin Tomlinson. After DT#90 Maurice Hurst was lost for the season in this his career season, I felt as though DTs #94 Tomlinson and #93 Shelby Harris were still enough. DT#94 Dalvin Tomlinson had been from Minnesota (2021-'22) and NYG (2017-'20) and had been solid all-around. This year in Cleveland he started off as though he had declined by a full level to that C/C- caliber over the offseason before somewhat improving as the season slowly progressed. But late in the regular season he had begun to fade back to the C caliber level and that's the level of disguised garbage, and thus, still garbage. That DT spot alongside the other DT spot split between solid #93 Shelby Harris and utter trash #96 Jordan Elliott, big picture that adds up to the overall DT spots being spots of weakness (especially after #90 Maurice Hurst's career season was cut short). Trying to play even solid on defense without solid DT play, it takes an extraordinary LB unit to compensate for a lack of formidable DT play. 2/3 of Cleveland's DT spots were garbage after Maurice Hurst injury, and without some extraordinary LB unit to compensate for that, well let's just say those are the lessons learned here, or reminders actually.

No Chiefs. Tired of seeing them in Superbowls.
Bucs 24-10 over eagles
🏈 balls bounce around to much to predict what men can do with them in the midst of a violent game. We concentrated on football when we was in fifth& sixth grade elementary 🏫. Listening to these guys 😁 is similar to watching mo, curley and larry
Let's go Eagles! ❤️
All three of them were wrong about the Texans vs Browns game 😂😂😂
These TALKING HEADS are ridiculous. Stroud and the Texan’s team put everyone on notice…..
That windchill factor ain’t the same Key
Its 2024....we got heaters and gear to deal with the temps. In addition, everyone is playing in the same weather. Living in a cold climent doesnt make you immune to the temps. Fins win.
Keyshawn says 0 with windchill of -22. That doesn't even make sense. They're in a stadium on top of that
In tonight’s game of Miami @KC, the thought of KC winning last year’s Super Bowl without Tyreek Hill would not be the first time it crossed my mind.
Still tk u Skip BAYLESS 2 Nice 💯🙂❤
Keyshawn which team who help you earn your Super Bowl ring?
Keep underestimating the Texans.
Wouldn’t haven’t any other way 🤘
When RUclips associate told me he is pulling for Cleveland today and asked me who I got, my response was,”Actually Houston is one of just a few teams, to have such a complete Defensive Line, particularly in pass-rush that seemingly nobody knows about.
Eagles are getting blown out lmao
Is locking up a playoff stop with 4 weeks to go in a season backing into the playoffs?
I'll go against the odds and take Miami. I'll also take the Browns and Buccaneers. Flacco is going to knock Baltimore out of the playoffs.
@JonKlikel are you serious
@@johnathanbrown9068 I'm not so confident in Miami but pretty confident in Tampa Bay. I'm POSITIVE if Cleveland gets past Houston, they will destroy Baltimore.
Where are them browns fans at 😂😂😂
Windchill is actually worse. That stuff hurts your bones
Yeah windchill is definitely worse because it's unpredictable lol. Idk what Keyshawn is going on about them being the same. Spoken like someone who never really deals with the cold. Lol
Still Paul Brown the great of All time
Bucs, Browns, Chiefs should win
The script:
Flacco vs Lamar - Flacco revenge game but fails
Chiefs - Keep Taylor Swift on chiefs getting views and the ethnic qb
Bucs- Baker gets extension, but loses next round
The what QB?
@@ErikDayne psst Patrick.
You white people are insane
Don’t touch the bucs game
Alladat and the Bucs blew them out 😂
@@joelgriffith1654 I had been wondering if there was a video that I had not gone back to and corrected myself before the Eagle-Buc game, and here is that video. The other videos I had corrected myself by saying ,"Now WR AJ Brown is going to miss the Eagle-Buc playoff game. The way to get through Tampa Bay's defense is by throwing the football but how are the Eagles going to succeed in doing so now with AJ Brown missing the game?!"
@@joelgriffith1654 On video titled "Eagles fall to Giants & Bucs beat Panthers: Tampa Bay host Philly in playoffs | NFL | UNDISPUTED", I corrected myself some 20 hours ago, some 8 hours before the game, "Philadelphia WR AJ Brown won't be playing vs Tampa Bay. I can't favor the Eagles now."
@@joelgriffith1654 Amazing what great coach T.Bowles gets out of Bucs' pass-defense considering the only two formidable Bucs' pass-rushers are NT#50 Vea & SLB#7 Shaq B. Bucs have many formidable run-defenders, but Coach Bowles makes Bucs' pass-D look better than it should be with great play-calling.
