I don't know who this or why it was recommended to me but this reminded me of the opposite happening to some youtuber who made videos about classy aesthetics and lifestyles and lovely afternoon tea parties and stuff like that and apparently there was a whole bunch of people hating on him saying stuff like stop talking like and pretending to be some upper-class posh young lord we know you're working class, and he was like I litterally never said I was upper class I never denied coming from a modest background I just like this aesthetic that's all.

This 👆 people from all walks of life can like things that defy expectations - because expectations are just man-made. We all are just people trying to find what moves us in life. People just need to let others like things and enjoy things. If no one is getting hurt and it enriches the life of the person involved, then who gives a shit what other people think. We all need to be more accepting because life is hard enough without creating more hardship unnecessarily. We’re clinging to a rock hurdling through space, people. Be kind.

If someone wants to behave in a way that feels authentic to them then it is quite literally nobody else's business. Even if they're a public figure, it's still nobody else's business.
