3 days is no where near long enough, you need to triple it, relax enjoy and embrace, so many great places to experience. The Tablelands, the Boulders, Karanda, the Reef, Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation Paranella Park to name just a very free of wonderful places and experiences you can do. Ask yourself will you ever be back up here again???? So don't miss anything. Have fun and please stick around d and make the most of the Region 🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️👏🏻 ❤
Thanks for the recommendations! The last 2 years of travelling has made us realise that we won’t be able to see everything in one lap - we’re lucky to have so many amazing spots in Australia… but North Queensland (incl. Cairns) is definitely a spot we’ll be back to. We fell in love with the landscapes and wildlife. 💙🌴
@@lydiaandwehan Hi Lydia and Wehan, Yes it has. I have been extremely privileged to lived and worked in Townsville, Cairns, Mackay/Whitsundays, & Rockhampton and my must-do Sundays for many years were “sightseeing ME TIME days” - so incredibly grateful.
Bats are rad! Many years ago I did a 5 day horse trek through the rainforest from Cairns to Port Douglas and from there I made my way back to Cairns and had a couple of days to explore. I took the train up to Kuranda and visited the butterfly sanctuary which was amazing. On the way back, from the Skyrail I could see big blue Ulysses butterflies above the canopy - magical moment. My plan is to retire to a van and slowly make my way back up to FNQ to explore for longer.
Yeah….I’m back watching your adventures….missed watching your videos, very busy times….anyway….in a weeks time my wife and I will be close to landing in Melbourne…..few days there, then onto Tassie…..your adventures really set the scene…will look back at your Tassie times…cheers guys, nice to be back here x

❤ love you guys 😘
Great video. You had some awesome experiences. The look on Wehan's face when he first put his foot in the cold water...................Priceless!
Thank you! 💙 So funny... glad he sucked it up and got in though, otherwise I never would have let him live it down 😝

That sounds absolutely incredible 😍🦋 & the perfect retirement plan. We’d love to come back and spend more time exploring FNQ one day

Atherton tablelands is much more spectacular than Cairns city. Just a tip
Loved it there! We stayed near Atherton right after Kuranda.
