Literally me! Last year I found out I was pregnant and 2 months later my sister got pregnant and I decided to not do a baby shower or anything for me since it was my second baby and it was her 1st! I didn’t want anyone getting me anything and I wanted all the focus on her ❤
I found out I was pregnant last august with my second. I didn’t tell anyone until around October I believe. Well when I told my sister she cried because she has been trying for about 2 years to get pregnant with her second and was having no luck when I was able to get pregnant 10 months after my son was born (wasn’t planned at all). So I told her to start taking these pills that help with regulating cycles and ovulation and a month or so later she became pregnant. Her due date is 3 months after mine. When she told everyone she said that she wouldn’t have been able to do it if it wasn’t for me suggesting these pills to her (they are all natural pills).
My babies have a 5 year age gap and I will never regret how much I was able to soak them up all in their own time, it felt like they each got the spotlight in the best way possible. I feel larger age gaps are underrated
Yes!! So underrated and all in the name of "starting over" with diaper changes etc., why focus on that, besides that time goes by so quickly. Like you said, we're able to soak them up.
Yes I want ti wait 4-5 years between my babies . I want to experience all my sons firsts before I have another baby. I felt like no one understood me. But I agree 100%
I personally never liked being 4 and 5 years apart from my siblings there in just such different chapters but were also not close . I would have loved to have them closer to my age

I saw my mom lose her parents from Mexico that she never got to say goodbye to due to immigration and that broke my soul. It also taught me to really treasure my parents because not everyone gets to keep them close and that’s a heart wrenching reality! I remember your mom talking about losing a parent in Mexico when she didn’t have status yet on the podcast like my mom and I really felt for her pain. I could imagine you feel the same way and bless you for that.❤ We see what our parents have suffered and we want to give them the world!

It sounds like you already have put a lot of thought into the age gap between your babies, and I just gotta say you have a great mentality regarding waiting till Mia understands. My kids are 3 years apart and I honestly wished I had waited even a bit more. I put presure on myself to have them close together, and I kept feeling like time was passing and who knows how long it will take me to get pregnant a second time (I also have PCOS). On hindsight, waiting till my oldest was 5 and starting school would have been ideal. I struggle with a lot of guilt because those first two years of my second babys life, I didn't dedicate as much time and attention to her as I had with my first. We were mostly in survival mode. I know there will always be mom guilt over one thing or another, but if I could give myself advice back then, it would be to wait a little longer. ❤
Sometimes we get desperate for things knowing that there really is no rush for anything May God give you strength each day to be a hardworking women and give your kids a good life 🙏🏼

Omg I can complete relate when you talked about moving out. I had the same feelings but my husband and I knew we needed our own space start building memory for us and my family knows I love them but definitely the best decision for my family buying our own home just us ❤

yes waiting until Mia is a little older is such a great idea! and tbh the Depo shot is probably the worst form of birth control you could be on in terms of side effects. if I were you I would switch to the pill (I recommend the mini pill like Slynd) or the patch. nothing wrong with being on birth control but the Depo shot is horrible.
It’s very considerate of you to not want to steal mayras pregnancy shine… especially because you had to dim down your light when your baby was little because of Mayras situation
A cousin of mine got the surgery and she got pregnant…. Unfortunately she was always anemic and dehydrated because she couldn’t give the baby all the nutrients he needed. Now, she had the baby 5 weeks early and he needs to stay in the hospital 😔 please take care of yourself to make sure your baby will be super healthy as well as yourself ❤
I had the gastric bypass and I’m good with straws but for a long time as long as it isn’t carbonated I’m fine. I can feel my tummy feel with air if it’s carbonated.

Good that your waiting on getting pregnant after the surgery. I got my gastric sleeve March 2018 and lost so much weight my body became super fertile and got pregnant June 2018 and my pregnancy was the WORST!!! So many complications and ughh. The older she is the harder it is for her to adapt Because she would be so used to just being her and all her attention being to her as the younger they are they don’t remember just being them they know it’s them and another baby and tend to share the attention idk if I am making sense but girl if I would of known that sooner I would of had my kids closer in age. Because mom guilt it’s a b… when you have a newborn and the older is hitting milestones that NEED your presence there but you can’t always be there and they become more attach to the other parent you kind of become jealous or feel left out (obviously it’s a stage that passes) but I am just sharing a point of view from my experience!
Im on my own weight loss journey…..do you ever feel scared of food? Like do you ever feel like if you eat something you are not supposed to la conciencia te mata! Honestly I recommend for you to see a dietitian just because it’s not healthy to cut off foods you enjoy like chips and tortillas… typically a dietitian will implement foods from your current meals and just add what is missing like carbs or fats
I did, thank you! I had to cut carbs completely because my glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides levels were pretty high😅 I started on January and i am currently 30lbs down but i guess that is why i am so afraid of food now, im traumatized lol
Once your body losses a certain amount of weight your body will freak out thinking something is wrong and will fight against you losing more weight which is why you plateau. Often you will start fluctuating between 5-20 pounds after you plateau until you break it.

100% agree you start to lose weight very slowly because of the different fat stores that are being burned & Yes those next lbs take time and dedication for sure! Man plateaus sucks so much especially wen you don’t know or didn’t know why or what is going on I dropped over 70 lbs back in 2018 and I had a stall didn’t look up info on it & got frustrated I thought the exercise I was doing just wasn’t enough or that the calorie deficit I was doing was messing me up so I kinda gave in gained 15-20 lbs back then 2020 hit and stress ate for the whole year gained an additional 15-20 lbs I used to keep my meals and gains/losses on instagram as an accountability thing and I have seen some ppl I followed since 2018 that never gave in under pressure of plateaus/stalls and are like fit and in better shape than ever and it kinda makes me think like how I could’ve just stuck to it maybe I would’ve reached my goal but now I know what I didn’t know then so hopefully this time around I can stick through the stalls and reach my weight goal with hard work & dedication! 💪

Getting tummy tuck I really hope you embrace your stomach instead. Regardless your choice but I would be scared of permanent numbness cause it will happen to some extent unless you’ve had a c section it wouldn’t matter but I’ve had surgery with scars and it does not feel the same with touch.

Maybe try a birth control pill the side effects are a lot less intense and I’ve heard many bad things about the depo shot like it causing weight gain, weird bleeding, bone density issues my dr actually was against the shot for almost anyone thought it was a bad option I’ve been on the pill for 7 years never had any issues there are many different types even a low dose pill it saved me from horrible cramps that were sooo painful I wouldn’t be able to do anything for days, heavy bleeding I’d bleed on everything needing to go to the bathroom all the time or I’d bleed through my clothes and my acne got better no more breaking out every month.

Maybe try a birth control pill the side effects are a lot less intense and I’ve heard many bad things about the depo shot like it causing weight gain, weird bleeding, bone density issues my dr actually was against the shot for almost anyone thought it was a bad option I’ve been on the pill for 7 years never had any issues there are many different types even a low dose pill it saved me from horrible cramps that were sooo painful I wouldn’t be able to do anything for days, heavy bleeding I’d bleed on everything needing to go to the bathroom all the time or I’d bleed through my clothes and my acne got better no more breaking out every month.
