- I tried buying from every vendor in Plaisance village market which is one of the biggest markets I've been to in Guyana. Hope you enjoy the vlog of this Guyanese market. The market is located on the East Coast of Demerara between Better Hope and Goedverwagting, Guyana.

Phillip, plaisance is a black village bought by African slaves in the 1800s. At the back of the village there is where they do farming and most of the food are produced there. When I was a little boy that village was so beautiful. Queen Elizabeth 11 visited that village in 1966. Right where you are is where the train used to run. Times have changed, that market was much much bigger than what you are seeing now and the place was very clean. Nice video, big up.

I like the professionalism and mannerisms of the guy who was selling the different variety of drinks. You can see he is about making his customer priority inated of the money. Also I mus say he is well dress. Also, the guy who served the breakfast to him he was so well dress and calm.

There are other big markets in Guyana. These markets are Rosignol in West Coast Berbice, Region 5. New Amsterdam, RoseHall, Port Mourant and Skeldon in Region 6. Parika in Region 3 and Charity in Region 2. You need to visit these places.
