I take it you meant Ireland joined the EU in 1973. Since after signing in 1972, Ireland needed a referendum to amend the constitution before it could actually join

As if they would jeopardise signing the Good Friday Agreement to argue about what might happen if someone decides to hack themselves out of the EU in 20 years time. Taking the time, also, to anticipate what the EU will become in 20 years and writing an agreement to fully accommodate that - unless they were just to write "No whining"

Listening to this I was reminded of Tom Robinson Band, especially the song "I'm Alright Jack" (released in 1979)
The 2 guys interviewed on Channel 4 at the beginning: If economic downturns have a direct relationship to lockdowns explain New Zealand. If lockdowns have been proven definitively not to work, explain New Zealand. New Zealand is the only country to completely follow scientific guidelines and STILL haven't passed 100 deaths (they're currently at 51 after going through 2 spikes). Like the other guy said, they kept banging on about Sweden and look at the mess there, yet others who are ok with the lockdowns to control the spread have been banging on about New Zealand since 2020 and STILL are because nothing has changed. Also, he says we've tried lockdowns with no success, explain the drop in numbers during each lockdown, explain why we've had none for the last 9 months at least and we're about to enter another because the numbers now are worse than at any time since Covid arrived. It's literally the complete opposite to what he says, we've had all this time doing it the anti lockdown way and even with the vaccines we're now worse than at any time since it began. Anyway, wouldn't people prefer to be locked down for a fortnight only to find it wasn't needed afterwards, than not lock down to only find we DID need to so hundreds of thousands die? I don't understand how someone can have a brain that works that way, there IS a reason there's a saying humans use all the time that goes 'Just in case' and not 'ignore the risks'

I started off thinking Alexander from Liverpool was a twat, but when called the second time I found him wonderfully entertaining. This collection of videos doesn’t look so great now the truth has come out. Lockdowns did almost nothing and crippled economies. All western countries are now condemning China’s lockdowns and conveniently forgetting that they did the same thing not long ago. Forcing the jabs on children was a crime on a massive scale. Even at the time the science was saying that the benefit vs risk was slightly towards the negative and we now know that the benefits are far less than was be advertised at the time. At the time jabbing kids, was seen as a way of getting kids back to school without it spreading household to household. We now know the jab does almost nothing to prevent spread. It started out as being advertised on MSM as 100% effective at stopping spread and when over time the figures showed something else, it eventually got down to being reported as 20% effective and then they just stopped reporting it at all.
