I finally finished the Array video. This finishes the data container series. Are Arrays clear now? Which was your favorite function? Find the video about Enum here: ruclips.net/video/0u_P-6lCsyQ/видео.html and Dictionaries here: ruclips.net/video/qi7pTn8Ybk0/видео.html
Good job! I already knew what arrays are for, but still, good job! I would suggest including a section about advanced array types like PoolByteArray. To be honest, arrays are a really important concept in programming, and you've only shown a small part of it in this 26-minute video.
Thank you, I am glad you liked it! Also thank you for the hints. I could only cover as far as I am confident in my knowledge. I don't know about PoolByteArrays yet, but I will have a look at it. I am still rather new to programming myself and there is still a lot to learn 🙂
I'm your 11 subscribers 😉and thought about you today, first of all congrats on your achievement it amazing how your progressed in so little time, and second of all your video were never ever in my recommendation that is really piety from youtube, see you next year on the 1k
Ohh, hello there! long time not seen! Thank you so much and I agree, I am blessed with many nice people following the channel and enjoying my videos recently :) And yeah, subscriptions only matter partially. I could subscribe to a martial arts channel today, but since all I consume every day is stuff about godot and game dev, RUclips wouldn't "impose" stuff on me that I'm currently less engaged in. If I suddenly were to look something up about martial arts for some reason, that subscribed channel will have high chances to pop up in my feeds again. Anyway, that's at least how I think it works. And since I believe you subscribed when I was sharing my progress as Indie game dev and the channel took quite the turn into Godot tutorials, I guess you didn't get my videos. Thanks for reaching out, it makes me happy :)
Ohh, now I remember more clearly, we had a short talk about creating a RUclips channel back in the days. Based on our conversation back then, I presume you think about creating your own Channel once again. I can only encourage you to do so. After the stress of exposing yourself subsides a bit, and you get used to all your tools, it actually becomes fun. It is still work and costs lots of efforts, but it feels rewarding to me. Well, as this video shows, it's a bit of a roller coaster at times 😅 ruclips.net/video/fk0pQHxGRu4/видео.html Somewhere in this year I intend to release 2 or 3 videos that talk about my experiences growing a RUclips channel coupled with why I believe an indie dev. could/should consider doing so nowadays. Maybe you'll enjoy some of them 🙂
Ohhh, I see. What a shame though. You put all this effort in and now nobody can enjoy it 😯 Well, let's see. You probably have some reason or anxiety which prevents you from uploading them. And it's understandable. Going public brings all kinds of feedback, direct ones and passive ones. It is a tough step to do. On the other hand, making a delicious cake and letting nobody eat it is such a wast for the delicious cake 😅 Now this may or may not help you: RUclips will bring these videos to those who value them and need them. These people will feel grateful for the info that you share with them or they wouldn't klick the video (well 99% of the time. Just don't clickbait them). And the harshest reality to face will probably be if nobody clicks your videos. This just means RUclips does not find the poeple that your video is suited for. This is the harshest feeback because you'll have to rethink your message (Look at me. I'm making tutorials now 😂). In any case, as long as you can't hit this daunting publish button, there won't be any evolution happening. Worst, you might spiral deeper into the limbo of anxiety and pressing this button becomes harder and harder and harder. So how did I do it? Surrender the outcome. You did your best in creating the video. Now it's time to release them into the world. Just take this as food for thought. I by no means mean to pressure you. But you've already began this adventure. Might as well discover where it takes you from here 😉
You might be confused. 0:47, max size of an array for integers doesnt depend on the type of its content, in this case int. Depends on the processor (32bit, 64bit). Content type is irrelevant to "total" amount of memory allocation. Capacity of memory allication depends on the processor as I just said. Thats why it wouldnt be correct to say max elements in an array is 2 billion something. One more thing, Number of elements as a term is what is countable, however, "gb" as a term is used to refer to space thats taken. Number of elements are number of elements, it is not sensible to convert "number of elements" to "gb", two different things. One is you count, the other is amount of space taken.

@@LioGoesIndie Exactly😅 I bought threes 4k cameras...made several videos since then but never made them public 😶🌫...

Thank you for Clarifying this!
Seems like I'll have to cut this part out through the RUclips Editor then. I guess my research was faulty here! 😱
☝️😁
Wow you were quick! I just finished creating the time stamps 😂
