This is probably the MOST realistic way to kill a popper in a battle. Salah & Djidawi are the 2 BEST popper all around the world, but this time one get killed ...
@ever2L8 Signature or not, he could add to them, change them up a little, or just come up with something new entirely to at least refresh his own style and make himself seem more original. It would really make him shine again, at least in my book.
@playerleicester well back then djidawi was like nuttin much but now he's grown ! and well salah is salah he invented he's sty;e and he pleases the crowd ! thats about it ! hes technique is flawless
@Ch4oTiK I'd say if this was an argument...not only did I win it, but I didn't even try to, nor did I intend to make this an argument. So thank you very much for handing me this, and then ending it with "bye bye"...one thing I think we can agree on. See ya around. Buddy.
@ever2L8 Dancing depends on ever changing moods and moves, or keeping it fresh...why is Salah still so huge when there is really nothing fresh about him anymore? I know it's just my openion, amongst many others actually, but I think the object of any dance competition should rely on fresh moves, at least somewhat original and constantly evolving styles. Salah still does the same mouth-pulling, phone-talking shoe tricks he's always used for YEARS, and that's a true fact.
@ever2L8 Lol because my openion didn't change? Sorry, if that was meant to be insulting...it was a sad attempt. If I am reading the context wrong though then my mistake. As you said, appeal to the audience is what wins competitions. Salah has a lot of fans as an entertainer in general, not just as a competative dancer. A lot of the audience could have been bias Salah fans for all you know. I look at it as, if I was in the audience, simply enough, Salah no longer appeals to me.
@ever2L8 Now I understand you must be a Salah fanboy, which is cool despite the negative vibe the phrase depicts (Most people think fanboyism is lame or whatever, but if you like someone who is an entertainer...you're a fan, lol call it what it is y'know?) but that doesn't negate ANY of my points. Djidawi's style has changed a lot from 5 years ago. So has Bionic's, Poppin' John, Kite, etc. etc. everyone changes a little from time to time otherwise their styles become static. Salah...is static.
@ever2L8 Rofl, look at this dude. Between the two of us, you were the only one that resorted to calling names and using CAP LOCK in a way as to insult, rather than accentuate a certain point..and then you turn around and say I am crying? I am speaking my openion about Salah's style, and you're calling me a "fucking dip shit", and then you call me a fanboy and a kid? Damn bro, I'm not entirely sure what fantasy land you live on where those points could ever be considered relevant, but stay there.
@ever2L8 Every time I watch Salah I know EXACTLY what to expect because his style really doesn't EVER change. As I said, dancing in general is all about progression of the styles, keeping it fresh, etc. etc. especially in any sort of Pop, Urban or Hip Hop styles. A lot of the other dancers bring fresh shit to the table. I even see when Salah is getting ready to do something, his competition in the sidelines starts to gesture exactly what he is going to do because he is too damn predictable.
Salah murdered the dude?...Everyone is such a Salah fanboy. Salah is badass don't get me wrong, but the dude is 80% tricks, 20% actual popping whereas Djidawi is damn near pretty much visa versa. He already admitted to being more of an entertainer that just knows how to pop. He appeals to audiences but the down and dirty popping skill goes to Djidawi, who has at least gone through quite a few changes in his style. Salah has been the same since he started. Bu whatevs, they are both badass.
@ronny22 I agree. It's just disappointing to me. Like I said it's not a knock to Salah but it's giving him an excuse to be the same Salah he was 10 years ago while everyone else tries to evolve their skills and progress the style...and it's only because of some tricks. His skill all around is great though, but meh...Salah has lost some matches though. So whatevs.
@Ch4oTiK So between the two of us, I simply stated my openion in a non-aggressive way, and you went all shark on me. I told you I understand if you're a fanboy, and then proceeded to explain how fanboyism is not a negative term, it has only been made that way by stupid people who dont want to admit that they are fans for liking an entertainer, and you freaked out. I have made no judgements about you outside of my knowledge but you assumed I had no job, etc. marking your ignorance....maaan.
@ever2L8 Secondly, this really isn't an argument, this is a discussion. You're making it an argument. I told you that was a poor excuse of an insult attempt, but I had the decency to apologize incase I read it wrong afterwards...then you freaked out, haha. It was quite funny actually because between the two of us, you now look the fool...and it wasn't even my intention to do that. It's a beautiful thing, when people bury themselves.
@ever2L8 He's a dancer and entertainer yeah, but he's still boring to watch now. Salah used to be my favorite a few years ago. Now...it's the same old boring shit every single time. I understand that appealing to the audience is key and yadda yadda, thats common sense and something I dont need to be told. What's interesting to me is the fans...why are they still entertained by this?
@ever2L8 And then you insinuate that you know me by telling me to get a job, which to answer your question, no is absolutely not better at insults, it just makes you look arrogant. I have a job. In fact I am also going full time to the Art Institue of Orange County, and was in the military, which believe me is not a brag but it certainly was a job. More of a chore actually, only 18 hours a day. Every day. Can you compare? Unlike you I won't jump to conclusions about that subject.
