  • After traveling to San Antonio, Texas and getting settled into my sister’s house in Bulverde on the outskirts of San Antonio, it’s time to take a little drive to Lupe Tortilla to get some good Mexican food to eat.
We’re driving FM1863 in Bulverde to US281 south from Comal County into Bexar County and the city limits of San Antonio. We’ll exit at Stone Oak Parkway to Stone Ridge Market where Lupe Tortilla is located. This is one of around 30 locations, all in Texas, with locations concentrated in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston with a couple of outliers in Beaumont and College Station.
After checking out the extensive menu, we choose queso, chicken fajitas, and margaritas for lunch. The chicken fajitas at Lupe Tortilla are some of the best I’ve ever eaten and are highly recommended.
After eating, we take the long way home via Evans Road, Canyon Golf Road, Borgfeld Drive, and Bulverde Road back to FM1863, driving through some nice neighborhoods along the way.

The food looked good. I think the San Antonio area has more hills than most people who have never been there realize.

The food in San Antonio is ridiculously good, especially the Mexican food where you can hardly go wrong. The San Antonio area can definitely be hilly especially west of 281. I'll be driving that way in my next Texas video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great Branson trip!
