Can’t wait for the release, may the Lord bless you…such a big help for church worship!
Hope to see the full app coming soon
This video is so helpful showing how intuitive and easy it is to use and edit the program on the fly. While I absolutely love using SK on my computer, this will likely be my go-to once it comes out in full!
Really hoping for AUv3. I use the iPad every Sunday for my synth sounds. I have tried SK on MacBook but it is way too cumbersome. I make too many changes on the fly. This app is almost perfect. Just needs AUv3 for my vote. Back to AUM for me (for now). Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait for this release.
The demo seems to not have any AUv3 support, either to load external sounds or use SK as a plugin
So Cool. If you're ever looking for a change... My church in Switzerland would love to have you!😄🤣😍
Looking forward to this 🙌🏼
Can wait....pkease release soon
love this app so so much!
Can’t wait for it to be out of beta! Looks like so much fun! Ohhhhh the possibilities. 🤤
Where can I get this patch? I need to use it in my Sunday Keys app. please
As far as sound quality, is there a noticeable difference between running mainstage versus the app?
Both versions are using the same sampled instruments, so they will sound very close.
Longer answer from the FAQ: How does this compare to existing SK formats?
The Sunday Keys App incorporates everything we’ve learned over the last six + years of programming Sunday Keys in other formats to deliver an experience specifically tailored to the worship keys player. The Sunday Keys App shares the same focus as the existing Sunday Keys formats: delivering a user-friendly worship keys rig with incredible Sounds, fast and efficient workflows, and reliable live performance on stage. We believe the Sunday Keys App will stand alongside and complement Sunday Keys’ other existing formats over time. One of the greatest strengths of the App will be its emphasis on simplicity and a feature set conceived for live worship keys from the ground up. All of the familiar features Sunday Keys users count on are present in the App including an incredible sound library (with more sounds regularly added throughout and after the beta period), easy Patch creation, fast and intuitive workflows, the Tonic Pad Player, simple transposition, tap tempo, seamless transitions from Patch to Patch, and much more. Users who enjoy using Sunday Keys in one of its existing formats may very well be content to continue utilizing that format while others may find the App even better suited to their needs and desired outcomes.
Not sure why you would use a limited iPad when you are using a Nord keyboard with perhaps the best sound engine on the planet.
When to expect the release
We don't have an official date yet but its coming very soon! Beta access is available to everyone with an active Sunday Keys license.
I UPgraded a couple of weeks ago to SK 2022. It is amazing, and the iPad app is great! Question : what iPad stand is being used in this video?
Here we were using what New Life Worship had already on stage, but pretty sure it was this or a similar one: amzn.to/3mhpppk < this is an affiliate link. It's the iKlip by IK Multimedia. Always check the specs before buying to make sure the stand you get will fit your ipad model.
@@SundaySoundsola qualquer iPad da certo tipo o iPad 9 ?
How did you connect the ipad to Nord stage 3?
Hello Sunday Sounds! May I ask how you hooked up the Sunday Keys App to the Nord Stage 3? I also have the same board and wanted to get Sunday Keys but I am not sure how to do the connection so that I can still use the sound of the Nord alongside SK.
You can connect to the Sunday Keys App via USB, and still use the built-in audio outputs on the Nord to use both at the same time.
Sounds Great! Which iPads are compatible?
We've got our recommendations listed on the FAQ section: sundaysounds.com/pages/sunday-keys-app
Sunday keys app doesn't work on my M-Audio midi keyboard , what seems to be the problem? It works on my Akai one though.
Most interesting thing will be if we can use this in combination with AUM?
It looks like it's an aum on it's own.
The piano sounds too plastic for me, the pads are cool. If it’s me I would use the Nord pianos with the pads of the app. It’s not a good idea to use a Nord for the demonstration, I am a little bit offended lol
I agree. The nord is so majestic, warm and intimate and this piano sounds very bright.
You can adjust the sound and brightness of the pianos in the app and use different piano sounds. Now of course the nord sounds better. But it costs 3k+ when you buy the license for this app they give you iPad app, MainStage and ableton versions, and you can install in multiple devices so different people can use it at home and church. For the price it’s a very nice solution. And of course you can use your own piano sounds on top of the app sounds. I just wish they could let you import your own sounds…
@@x3a3x3 I bet they can change the “color” of the piano but its not a good solution in my opinion. My point is that I disliked subscriptions and that they should use a controller instead of the Nord to promote the app. I have a Nord and I will never use any app on top of my Nord its a little bit ridiculous. I am not saying it’s a bad idea I think is the opposite bc it could be a good fit for people that doesn’t know about sound design, but for the monthly payment is not worth it at least for me and in my personal opinion. I will buy apps that have a better sounds better for instance, Ravenscroft 275 that sounds really good and you can use the AUM to control your piano, you paid once it’s yours. In addition, I just don’t like the sound piano itself it doesn’t matter how much you can tweak it, it sounds plastic.
Furthermore, I would say it’s a good fit for CCM music when you play in quarter notes all the time, but if you tried to play gospel that will be hard.
@@franciscoramos7467 the subscription is 120$ for the year and once you pay that the app is yours forever and you don’t have to pay again, you just won’t get any more updates. I dislike subscriptions too, but at least they let you keep what you already paid for.
And I agree, the ravensCroft sounds great, I have that and also all the apps from gospel musicians. Their mksensation 2 and puresynth are a lot more complete with 1000’s of good sounds.. but the user interfaces are not that great for live playing.
What I like about this app is how simple and uncluttered the interface is and that you can save the songs and load as set lists. The 2 keyboard players I’ve been training at church now are both young teens and this app is a lot easier to use and they can load it in their iPads and take it home and just plug at different controllers. I have a few nice piano feel controllers and this app sounds ok for the price
Now of course it’s nowhere near a nord or a Kawai or Roland piano. It works fine for contemporary pads and simple chords but I wouldn’t use it for a more demanding gospel song
There also not many sounds available at the moment like great horns or organs. The GM puresynth and neo soul keys are years ahead for that…
Nords are also 100x more expensive than the app lol. Keep that in mind
Awesome
Is there a video that shows the connections or accessories that would be required to hook up the iPad with the midi and the sound routing how will that happen
Video is in the works, for now here is our gear recommendations: support.sundaysounds.com/hc/en-us/articles/5975993985047
@@SundaySounds got it! It’s clear. Thanks
can you all do a quick video just showing the connections? I have no idea how to setup an ipad to my keyboard lol.
We have one in the works, gear is going to depend on what iPad you use, here is our recommendations: support.sundaysounds.com/hc/en-us/articles/5975993985047
@@SundaySounds thanks!!
Is this only for CCM music? How much is the app?
i will be one of the customer to purchase this cool apps..
This dude literally has a nord and still using an app? 😂😂
That’s the most hipster pastor I’ve seen
Please I want to know if my iPad will be able to work with this application. I have iPad mini 16gb (wifi only). Pls tell me if it will work with this great innovation?
Hey Franklin, have you tried the DEMO of the Sunday Keys app?
@@JorgeSilvestrini okay.. I will first try the demo
@@lovemonkeys22 Check it out and then let us know how we can help!
@@lovemonkeys22 How did it go with the demo @Franklin
Can i change/switch the snapshots with midi pedal (etc. iRig blueboard)
Nice bro.
How are you sending the iPad out and using usb midi in at the same time? This is really cool!
He's using a USB hub. We were able to set one up at church using the recommended hub here: support.sundaysounds.com/hc/en-us/articles/5874902996247
Korg plugkey is a good solution using a midi cable
How many Tones/Patches are included? For instance could I replace my Roland Fantom 8 or Jupiter X or Korg Kronos with this? Could you replace that Spiffy Nord with this Software? Thank you
The App currently includes several dozen Sounds and layered Patches, with the library to be expanded regularly!
@@SundaySounds thanks for the information
Please I ve made a purchase for $120 and for the past 16 hours have not received the link to download. Can I get some help please?

Hello one question! to use sunday keys on my nord stage 3 is the interface needed? the first time I'm going to use Sunday Keys. could you please help!
Hola Jesús, I think you should get an interface and then have 2 different sources going out to FOH. That's the way I have mine running. I ended up getting the air|hub from M-Audio. It's a USB-C interface and it also has a USB HUB in the interface which allows me to plugin the keyboard and any other controller I'd want/need. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any more help!
Great app, what is the size of this app by the way?
As of the launch of the beta, the Sunday Keys App requires less than one gigabyte of storage space. This includes both the App download itself and the Sunday Keys Sound Library, which is downloaded once you login to your account in the App.
Since the Sunday Keys Sound Library will be expanded both during and after the beta period, users should expect the long-term storage space required to be a good bit higher, likely in the range of 5 to 10 GB of space within the next year.
As additional Sunday Sounds products are made available within the App in the future, each downloaded product will require some additional storage space. You'll always be able to see how much space is required for a given product within Menu>Check for Downloads in the App. support.sundaysounds.com/hc/en-us/articles/5975993985047
How do I connect my Nord Stage 3 to my iPad?
Please reach out to our support team at sundaysounds.com/contact, and they'll be happy to help you out. Thanks!
What about downloading song specfic patches?
At launch the Sunday Keys App will be focused on the core Sunday Keys experience, with no expansion sound libraries or Song Specific Patches available. We do plan to bring an incredible Song Specific Patch experience to the Sunday Keys App at a later date. More details will be provided as they are available. After the full Sunday Keys Sound Library is available in the App we will work to make our most popular sound libraries available in Sunday Keys App format, starting with the expansion libraries available to those who own a Sunday Keys Ultimate license.
Is there a digital capo feature to help us bad keyboard players?
Most keyboards have the option to transpose built in, or if you are using Sunday Keys check out the Easy Chord feature, you can select the key you want to play in and the key you want to hear in all the programming/sequences/arps will follow that.
@@SundaySounds you all are awesome! Just bought the app and messing with it. Truly innovative
@@Gx5379 Thanks for your support Zac! Glad you're enjoying the App!
Do i need specific version of i pad .we have i pad mini wil it work on my ipad
The Sunday Keys App can be installed on any iPad device running iOS14 or newer. We’ve tested the App across a range of supported devices including the base iPad (as early as 6th generation), iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro. Experience will vary from device to device with more powerful devices capable of better, faster, and more reliable performance. The App has been programmed to accommodate all various iPad models and you’ll be able to adjust relevant settings within the App for your device including adjustable Audio buffer size, adjustable Patch loading settings, and graphics optimizations all focused on optimizing CPU usage. iPads featuring USB-C or Lightning ports can be used, just note that the hardware adaptors required will vary based on your iPad’s port-type. More information on connecting gear can be found below and is detailed in the Sunday Keys App User Manual. support.sundaysounds.com/hc/en-us/articles/5893646953751
🔥🎹
How many times will it crash???🤔
Hey Will, we've worked hard to optimize the App for reliable live performance. Since it's built from the ground up for worship keys we're able to really focus in on what's important and streamline the way the App works for that.
We also just completed a three month beta program where thousands of beta testers used the App live at church and gave us valuable feedback that we then used to make the App even more stable.
If you're already using the App and having performance issues, feel free to reach out to us, we'd be happy to help: sundaysounds.com/contact
@@SundaySounds I would love to use the app. I just wasn't sure how table it was. Every app I've used for live performances has crashed right in the middle of the set. Very embarrassing.
@@WillBrown3 Totally understand! Reliable live performance w/ high quality audio was our number one priority. You can try the App for yourself if you’d like, just download from the App Store and login w/ a free SundaySounds.com account to check out the Demo Sounds and see how it feels.
Surprised how often you said ‘cool’…..it used to be ‘hot’ 🤷♂️… I still prefer nice, very nice , beautiful for worship music and with GOD in mind , I would take my hat off, respect…..
I don't know why i don't like it but i just don't like people who use a Nord stage or any higher varients of Nord keyboard as a midi controller I don't know just use a good midi controller and you can save 1 or 2 grand but i am not against it i just don't like i just feel it's an insult of the keys like a Nord or a montage unless you use the internal sounds also
You can certainly use the Nord sounds in combination with a software setup, this just happened to be the keyboard on stage at the time :)
@@SundaySounds yeah I can understand that and that is why i told that if you are using the sounds of the Nord with the digital sounds then it's great and if you just have a Nord at your church or in any other place that you have to go and use your digital sounds coz they can be selected by the songs that will be taken in the church or anywhere even I have done the same thing with a psr sx900 which is somewhere in the 1 grand range and when I used my sounds on it and used it like a midi controller it felt really bad for the keyboard and coz similarly i didn't had any other keyboard at my disposal so i can understand mate ✌️ i just don't feel good when there are people using those expensive keyboards and stage pianos to use as a midi controller even if they have midi a midi controller at their disposal i just meant for those people 👍
@@SundaySounds May I ask how? I just recently bought the app, but I am only getting audio from the app and not the onboard sound of the Nord. Does this mean I need two separate audio connections to a mixer (one for the audio interface, the other from the Nord)?
@@RandySantaAna Yes, you would need to use separate channels for each, so the App audio would likely be output from your Audio Interface, and then you can use the direct line outs on the Nord for the Nord sounds. That will also gives your audio engineer a lot more control over the mix.
@@SundaySounds Noted, many thanks for the clarification!
Who else is here cuz they thought it was AC?
This whole setup feels so excessively wasteful. This whole video highlights to me why so many are fleeing progressive churches and seeking smaller communities and churches again. Try visiting a church that has a beat up old upright piano that costs less than one of those lights back there and gives everything they have to support their community and you'll understand why this video is borderline insulting.
I don’t understand your frustration.
Churches and worship leaders - DON'T BE DUPED by the hype. I see SO MANY churches wasting $5k for these Nord workstations just because all these mega churches can afford them - and then run a MIDI program like Sunday Keys. You can run Sunday Keys on ANY MIDI-capable keyboard. You don't need to spend $5k to get these beautiful sounds. Everyone wants the "red stage keyboard" almost like a status symbol. It's terrible.
