Oh my girl version really bring all of my emotion to surface... I even cried everytime i rewatch their version.. And destiny is my fave song of lovelyz..
I honestly prefer OMG's version because they really show the emotion in their facial expressions and their voices. And traditional vibes from OMG made it sound like it came from a K-Drama.

I was supporting MAMAMOO on QUEENDOM, but i was totally shocked by OH MY GIRL 's performance. From the original song, they create a drama or a new world. I think that the performance of OH MY GIRL for DESTINY was the best performance of QUEENDOM, even if i prefer MAMAMOO. The problem of the harsh fans and the fact they want to appropriate the song is probably related the backround of this cover. OH MY GIRL was last at the first performance which was not a disaster but they didn't understand and fit with the show. I think that they were very worried of this failure. So, they could be eliminated if there is an other bad performance. They literally have to face their Destiny. Then they have to make a cover from an other girl group with similar cute vibe (So it's hard and they know that people will compare with the original). And Yooa was injured for the performance, Against these circumstances they put an incredible performance, with a totally different vibe from LOOVELYZ, but also a bit different to their own style with a drama vibe. The fact that they choose this song and a emotionnal style was totally related to their own feelings and their fans feelings. They create a beautiful intro, they add a rap part, a break up dance, and they choose the best props and costumes (with baref I think they don't even understand the level of the performance they put during their training. Behind a wall, you can sometimes be incredible. And after that, they were very good on the show. They were finalist with a really good result. So it was really a turning point from them, and i can understand the fan's perspective after their first failure. Even LOVELYZ was really shocked by this performance (MIJOO :) )
Even though it's way past queendom, but whenever I watched Destiny cover, I still found some comments trying to come for Lovelyz. I'm a Miracle but kinda sad when other Miracles (or Kpop fans) came for Lovelyz. We have to remember what Oh My Girl said when covering Destiny, that the goal is not to make it better than Lovelyz as the original is always better. The goal is to make it different. So please don't come for Lovelyz. Support our girls without attacking other. Let us show that we are Miracles.

Coming back to listen to kpop songs and fall in love with this song live singing by this amazing group perfectly. The loudest fanchant that I ever heard during that comeback on music show. We all got different tastes in music. Destiny by OMG made it emotional and kinda made it sound like an OST from a Kdrama. Destiny by Lovelyz made it more about a girl's one sided love for someone. I like Lovelyz Destiny better because the song lyrics and concept was stellar. It was all about the moon following the sun and so their whole choreography was based on the moons rotation as well their outfit colors which were decided by that days moon stage. It was really so good

Oh My Girl already owned this song through their own rendition and Lovelyz has been suffered of the consequences of their own choice to not use OMG's song. Lovelyz was afraid their concept will be intertwined with OMG if they choose OMG's songs, but OMG wanted to challenge themselves and give their own interpretation on this song. OMG had took over Destiny from Lovelyz and that's irrefutable. So, why people continues to hate Lovelyz further? They already learned their lessons. Only thing they can do is break their own barrier and be like OMG. Hating them because of their BEG rendition is pointless!

I got teary every time I watched Ohmygirl's Destiny cover esp on high notes part coz it gives me goosebumps! and just like what the Queendom girls said, It hurts ;; their emotion on both voice and eyes makes me hurt.
Didn't know either group before Queendom. I do like the Lovelyz version choreography, and I like their voices a bit better. However, I like the Oh My Girl version because it was just so theatrical and it made me cry. The vibe it had was really cool too. Like a historical drama. The stripped down version sung by Lovelyz is my favourite, followed by Oh My Girl at Queendom and then the original.
Of course a lot of you would like OMG's version coz it's well prepared for a SPECIAL stage. Can't flawed the original. Although the cover is very overwhelming, the original is still the root of this song and it was a lovely song. Pun intended. That said. The cover. They interpret it in their own style, which is "dreamy" and that is shown perfectly through the sound of the flute, the moon background, their dance, the traditional vibe and the stage presence. In my book, this cover rivaled Blackpink's cover of So Hot. A top notch cover of a top notch song from a top notch groups. 👍

In my opinion, the combination of both stages sounds really beautiful despite having slightly different music arrangement. Both team show different song interpretation, OMG gave the angst unrequited love concept altogether with traditional vibes making it feels like a historic k-drama ost, while Lovelyz showcase the image of having a crush and conveys the feelings to be in love for the one who wasn't yours, but still manage to smile positively. Still the emotions of being in a one-sided love is there, and the song characters delivered perfectly by both team.
I really like how OMG bring out the real sad emotion of this song. Destiny was my favorite song of lovelyz but whenevee I saw their performance I can't really feels the emotion. OMG really did a great job

That's two different songs. One is for a girl letting go of her first unrequited love, and it makes you sentimental. Another one is about life wrecking love of the entire life, and it breaks your heart.

I got teary every time I watched Ohmygirl's Destiny cover esp on high notes part coz it gives me goosebumps! and just like what the Queendom girls said, It hurts ;; their emotion on both voice and eyes makes me hurt.

Didn't know either group before Queendom. I do like the Lovelyz version choreography, and I like their voices a bit better. However, I like the Oh My Girl version because it was just so theatrical and it made me cry. The vibe it had was really cool too. Like a historical drama.
The stripped down version sung by Lovelyz is my favourite, followed by Oh My Girl at Queendom and then the original.
Of course a lot of you would like OMG's version coz it's well prepared for a SPECIAL stage. The comparison is literally nonsense... but lemme tell you, OMG may did a great version but nope as a fan of Lovelyz for a longer time (yup, I'm a miracle too), Lovelyz's concept is the best when it comes to this song coz OMG just literally made their own version but I didn't see the significance of their concept to the song specifically to the lyrics... so-

Both are great but I prefer the original of course. I love the fact that the lyrics are sad but the instrumental is not. It amazed me how one mind is creative enough to twist a sad piece to sound like a happy one

The original is a lyrical, sad and inspirational song. The cover was ok, the rap ruined a bit and the meaning of the original here was changed so it wasn't conveyed well.

In my opinion, the combination of both stages sounds really beautiful despite having slightly different music arrangement.
Both team show different song interpretation, OMG gave the angst unrequited love concept altogether with traditional vibes making it feels like a historic k-drama ost,
while Lovelyz showcase the image of having a crush and conveys the feelings to be in love for the one who wasn't yours, but still manage to smile positively.
Still the emotions of being in a one-sided love is there, and the song characters delivered perfectly by both team.
