The thing that is so special about this set is Franky himself and how much his energy changes throughout the performance. This was his first HEADLINING set (afaik) and he starts it off pretty quietly, maybe even a little nervous? As he realizes how much the crowd LOVES what he's doing, he really comes out of his shell. This wasn't just the best set of the weekend, but also a really impressive performance from one of Anjuna's "new" artists who proved he's just as good as everybody else on this epic label. It's an absolutely incredible mix, and one that's sure to put Franky on everybody's radar.
Ben Bohmer headlined directly after Franky, but you're right, his energy was incredible, and it felt like the first proper artist set of the day, rather than a warm up for later
Been following Franky for a while now and absolutely love his music and sets. Wouldn’t say it was a nervous start, he’s just building up the set I’d say, he’s so good at creating that atmospheric feel to kick the first 20 minutes or so off. So good! Some of the unreleased ID’s in this are ridiculous too! Can’t wait to see what we get from him this year! 🔥
Come across anjunadeep about 6 years ago when I was in a really dark, horrible place in my life! Safe to say this label has completely changed my life! I’d like to add Franky is hands down in my opinion the best dj on the planet! I pray one day I will be able to go to one of these lives events
I am in the darkest place for the past 3 year's myself. And anjunadeep is basically the only thing that keeps me going. Whenever my bad thoughts coming back to my head anjunadeep tunes keeps me going and clear head from all the madness. BTW I am following anjunadeep since 2005 :)

I think his better work has been with vocalists apart from the Sasha ones . Just needs a vocalist. See unreleased as yet "alive" , Robinson track and AETHO . Not as keen on the Carl Cox one , same with Pete Tongue remix of system F. Which adds little to the classic in my opinion. It's still brilliant but adds relatively little to the classic. As Alice Deejay said ...he's better off alone ....lol 🤣
For me being born 73 and have been part of the golden era of clubbing it is an extra treat when you open with a track like this. Sentimental vibes turned on!

I went to Dreamstate in California in November. I'm 47 and it was my first trance festival to attend. The amount of love, joy, happiness, etc blew my mind! I kept telling my buddy that the world would be an amazing place if everyone could see and experience that amount of love. It was simply magical!! This is the same way. This set by Franky is amazing!!
Wow. Franky has an ability to capture the nostalgia I have for "retro" sets I danced to in the early 2000's while simultaneously sounding futuristic and forward thinking. This was such a refreshingly unique set and one of the best I've heard in a long time.

I hear multiple influences in his sounds yet he definitely has his own sound and established beat.Definitely brought me back to John Digweed’s early days as the sounds really progressed..Amazing!!
