A look at the new PegasusAstro FocusCube 3

Bill takes a look at the new version of the PegasusAstro FocusCube, including connecting it to an imaging computer, using the wifi connection to run it from a phone, and connecting the new version of the focuser's optional hand controller.
The FocusCube is a high-precision stepper motor that attaches to your focuser axle so your computer can automatically focus your images to perfection. When used for visual work, you'll never have to touch the telescope when focusing, reducing those frustrating shakes when on highest magnification.

Maybe, the video image was acceptable on a large computer monitor, but on a cell phone your camera was much too far away, to be of any use.

I normally have more cameras set up on the desk to see stuff close up. I did have one from the other side but the battery gave out. You work with what you're given.

Nice unit. Just don't like Unity! (I have several Pegasus products)

Actually I use the previous FocusCube (I think I said that in the video) and find Unity quite workable. I've used it on a Nyx and my Powerbox Advanced as well. I don't spend much time in the Unity software as I run most of the gear through Voyager and it's seamless.
