Maybe everyone could check the negative comments for a minute and realize that this show was to raise much needed money for the drummers wife’s health?!? Holy Crap... Kiss this and Ace that! Great band then and now this is probably just a one off. And if anyone wants to talk about their music, many parallels to Kix. One hit wonder, great rythem section, two singers who sound the same, duel guitar attack etc. it’s only Music for a great cause!

Drove a couple hundred miles with my buddy to see them in 85 because in the back of Hit Parader it said they were playing Panama City Beach Florida. Got to the venue and it was a lounge act with the same name. Oh well, good times. Autoblast sounds great. Thanks for posting!

I met Jamie St. James on a rock cruise back in 2013. Super-nice guy. Like he doesn't realize how cool he is, if that makes any sense.
ROCK STARS seam to have this untouchable image but JAIME is REAL. His wife is cool as fuck.. she messages me back on facebook. No other Star would do that..
I loved Black N Blue when I was younger.
I think Tommy should devote all his time to this.

When I watch this video my memory seriously blazes with various tastes, sights and odors.... Going to various rock shows in the early 80's I found myself in crowds with this band playing several times. I was like "what, Black N blue again? LOL well it could be worse". And yes sometimes it was much worse. Black N Blue had a good thing going for quite a while. I saw them in some small places and then opening for Aerosmith at the Greek Theater in L.A. and Heart at Universal Amp... At that point, I guess they made it and I was very HAPPY for them!!! Anyway I came across this video just now and have to share. Memories, tastes, sights and yes even odors are coming to me as I watch...... Black N Blue ROCK!

Tommy and Eric are the 2 smartest guys from the 80’s scene. Most are barely scraping by or at least working regular jobs.
Hard work and talent. Nothing more or less.
Lance E Choices are a BIG part of it. If Tommy didn’t basically become Genes assistant which lead him to being the Kiss road manager he wouldn’t be where he is. If Eric didn’t ditch the Badlands gig ......which at the time had all the ingredients of being huge .....for Kiss. Choices.
@@Assimilator702 Remember, Eric went from Badlands to Alice Cooper. But because he played on Paul Stanley's solo tour of clubs because he was free while Badlands waited for their album to come out, they remembered him, and tried him out as a fill-in for Eric Carr (they did try others, like Aynsley Dunbar and supposedly, Deen Castronovo--gotta check into that one), then when Carr died, he was asked to stay on full-time, obviously.
Sounds better than 97% of reunion or tribute bands out there...i spent my younger years blasting there 2nd album out of the various boom boxes i owned. Great job BNB

I got to see Black & Blue in 1985, opening for Night Ranger. I remember thinking that they were good enough to make it big. Worked out for at least one of them. 😉

Anyone notice Tommy playing a Paul Stanley Silvertone Sovereign guitar at around the 17min mark? Maybe Paul loaned him one for the gig lol. Gotta love Tommy and Black N Blue!! Just noticed it was auctioned off for the event. Should have kept watching till that point before commenting lol

i would like to hereby apologize to the lead singer of Black and Blue for being drunk and stupid at one of their gigs back in the day at a place called "the pidgeon toed orange peel" venue in hillsdale, Oregon in i think it was 1979 or 80.......i threw up all over the lead singers shoes and although he wanted to kill me he kept his cool! lol sorry man! btw im clean and sober almost 30 years now.....lolol

That venue was named after the club in the Clint Eastwood film COOGAN'S BLUFF.
That was awesome! I love that set list! I forgot how much Violent Kid rocked!

Actually, when Black N Blue were playing the Hollywood circuit, they were thee band and everyone wanted to be them. So, chances are there's a few. Also, Ace hasn't written a memorable solo in decades, which really sucks. It used to be his thing.
