It touched me when Liziqi said she makes videos for people with stress and anxiety. That's exactly why I watch her. Such a lovely, genuine human being.
Most people today are so urbanised that they can't believe that anyone can do these things, but for many in the countryside of the world it isn't a choice or a trendy thing, it's just life.
People really are too urbanized. I'm grew up in a small town and left to go to school in the city. I was also shocked when I was looking for interenships that they had programs teaching city kids where their canned food came from. SMH
I dont care if she doesn't film the videos herself or no. The fact they are about her and her grandma's life together, how they share and care for one another is beautiful. The videos are enjoyable and instructional, colourful and you can't help but admire the motivation of Li and dedication to every detail.
And this is why ZiQi keeps to herself; to avoid people who can't appreciate her craft. It's obvious that they did the interview for the clout and money.
We did not need to hear how he tore his pants at all. The interview could have been better and the condescending tone of the interviewer was really cringy to me. Liziqy means so much to so many people around the world. She showcases chinese culture in such a loving way that it is impossible to not fall in love with it yourself. She does everything on camera herself, what more proof do you need. In Georgia, Saqartvelo we have a saying - people perceive others the same way they perceive themselves. Love you liziqi please keep doing what you love. liziqi+1, anxiety+0.
A closer translation of ZiQi's opening statement is "I would like that when people come home from a hard day of work, they can open my videos and feel a little more light hearted, feel like they are experiencing something beautiful to take away some of the anxiety and stress" Which is really lovely of her to think of her audience that way Love her work

It's quite sarcastic to see Ziqi commenting here showing her open heart, as the interviewers did not seem to be interested in her at all. You guys were like you just wanted to get the job done, but the whole point of her doing the videos is for people to feel relaxed and away from their busy work. How sarcastic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yep it's quite ironic that most people still knew what I meant even though I was using the incorrect word. Yes, the woman who did the interview sounded arrogant. I mean come on, if Li would talked to me about bamboos, I don't mind listening. I can learn so much from her.
I don't think it was arrogant. The problem is that it started as a documentary, but it ended on a strange note as a commentary. Without the ending, the video is fine. The commentary at the end should have been a separate video like behind-the-scenes or whatever.
What was the point of adding that snippet at the end? This was the most disrespectful you could have been to your subject. What an utter disgrace to journalism. I wonder why she even agreed to sit in this interview, what lies you spun to her in the proposal. Shameful.
@Flare Damn bro, not everything China is about the Chinese government, just like how Americans aren’t just about their awful government. This video focuses on the life of Chinese people, not their government. If you want to complain about the Chinese government’s awful doings, do it somewhere else, maybe under a video specifically highlighting those issues. Here, we’re celebrating a Chinese individual’s life and what she brings to the world. Chinese people are more than their government.
@Flare the US has a larger incarcerated population than China's, despite the fact that China has 5 times more people. The US has bombed, invaded, destroyed at least a half dozen muslim countries in the last two decades alone, China has not invaded any countries for decades. The US killed about 1,000 times more people in Syria, Libya and Iraq than China killed in Tiananmen. Only naive Americans like you buy into neocon US propaganda. Unfortunately there are quite a few people like you...
I’m so glad she didn’t allow the interviewer to see her secret way of filming. The interviewer acted so nice in Camera but talk shit behind her back afterward. Lin is smart-much respect to her craft.
Ending was unnecessary, especially laughing because Liziqi was talking about bamboo. That was very unprofessional. If you have no interest maybe you shouldn't have done the interview.
I have to say, that I don't give a damn about whether she's a one team woman or twenty team one. There's no doubt that the content is from her own head, she makes the food, she does the farming, she does the ACTUAL JOB, filing it is just a part of it. Just enjoy the video and haters need to stop yapping around so much.

Kaorhys Love This is not the first interview of ziqi, there are several in Chinese by other interviewers, especially by the weibo channel, that‘s a good interview and ziqi even song a beautiful song in it.
Wow, this is such a loss of a great opportunity to have an "exclusive" interview with her. This interview lacks information, depth, and respect for her work and person. Why bother traveling so far and waste her time to put out trash like this? You could've ask her so many questions about her life there, after getting popular, and her shocks and struggles switching to city vs rural life. Li ZiQi is not only a famous and loved internet celebrity, but also a Chinese culture influencer and ambassador. Many international audiences see her work and want to visit China or became interested in Chinese culture and food. She instigated interest in her country and heals people by letting them experience nature and traditional rural life behind the screen. Her 10 min priceless session about bamboos may seem boring and useless for you, but it's a wealth of information that we are interested in. Release that video please! Bamboo work and art is something only humans can do and wouldn't be replace by machines. Each bamboo grows different, have different density, and needs certain durations of heat and strength to bend.
I know, rightttt. I wanna listen to the bamboo explanation too 😭 Gosh, I wish I had the platform & opportunity to meet Ziqi. I will put it to work with my amateur journalism skill!
I disliked because of the rude and unprofessional interviewers, not because of Liziqi. That beautiful angel has made my anxiety melt away several times. She did not deserve this!!!

She is doing something very wonderful for the world. Her heart is pure, her mind is so full of light. All her videos have the same good vibes that one can get from watching them. She is wise to let music and action flow through her videos. Soft music opens the heart, action speaks louder than word. In this way, the audiences’ mind remain silent. That is why the videos are so calming. Those who think otherwise about her, have darkness in their minds, that is why all they see is darkness in everything. The problem lies in them, not in her. They are more receptive to darkness than to light. I practise meditation so I know such things. I just bought herbal scented tea from her. I just hope success don't overwhelm her and leave her with some space to breathe and remain grounded to earth. I noticed she always seems to face sideways in almost all of her videos, even in this interview. It seems she don’t like to be filmed facing directly in front of the camera.
Beautiful words!!! Ps: In this modern world, we are easily to get exposed to everything. Social media brings us together but also destroys us at the same time. I value privacy and I respect her privacy.

There's a reason why Liziqi has over 6 million subs, but it seems as though the interviewer wasn't really interested in her content at all and came across quite rude, especially in regard to the ending, why did you bother interviewing her if you weren't prepared to listen.
What I notice in her interviews though is that she only addresses the filming and editing process. No one ever mentions how she appears to be a master at dozens upon dozens of different things at such a young age. How can a young person literally master that diverse of many talents and crafts including computer photography editing all while taking care of garden and grandma and pets and chickens etc...it is hard to believe. But she never speaks about those things.
IT IS ALL CHINA PROPAGANDA, THEY R USING SOFT POWER, china doing genocide n slavery to chinese muslims. They dont value humanity. (U can still love chinese culture, but for love of humanity, pls hate ccp)
Bc she learns those things. If I remember correctly, she grew up in a rural area, which means she has exposed to this lifestyle while growing up, then she moved to the city, which also means she has exposed to technology and stuff like that. If you watch her, you know that she does take classes like sewing. She also watches YT to learn new skills like when she made the oven. I personally don't think it's that hard to believe bc that's how a lot of people in my country live too. Before there are machines, we literally have to do everything ourselves. Like my mom, she used to have a small pig farm, and she is also capable of doing everything herself, from cooking (from scratch btw like killing a chicken and stuff like that), cleaning the house (using a piece of cloth since there was no mop or vacuum), washing our clothes (by hands btw), take care of the pigs, her 4 children, her parents and parent in law. My mom also knows how to sew, knit, make kites, has chickens, fishes, 2 dogs, a garden etc. My dad also, from cooking, farming, gardening, building houses, steelwork, crafting in general, etc. And this is not my parents only btw but the whole village lol. People used to live in a community and learn from each other's skills. Maybe if you never grow up in a rural area with a village like that, it will look strange, but as someone who has been there, it just looks very familiar.
@@Mihae796 she didnt seem disrespectful, or annoyed or bored, she just seemed surprised that there is so much to talk about bamboo. but i get that it could be interpreted as bored. she might not be the best interviewer
Agreed, the interview wasn't good, rushed and uncared for, but the end was absolutely tasteless, tacky and pointless. But this is precisely what chasing clout looks like.
i believe the ending was the way it was because they didn't get to view her filming. if they had gotten the permission for that, there would be no doubt she is a self starter. the doubt has always been whether she is the director or not. i don't think anyone doubts she knows rural life, you can see her doing it in the video pretty evidently. at least that is my suspicion when i first stumbled upon the videos. because if not, it's another one of those "industry plant" kind of threats that attack her channel's authenticity. it does look heavily produced, as if there are _multiple_ cameras. she definitely does not have the time to do all those takes alone. she admits she has one videographer, but then what about editing? where does she have the time lol
GOLDTHREAD, your disrespect is subtle but palpable. if you think it's not verifiable why didn't you do more research or interview, instead you went over there, did a superficial and insincere interview (the superficiality and insincerity bing inherent or specific in this case), and kept hinting on her claim being "unverifiable". it's sheer disrespect wrapped in pseudo journalism, lacking any shred of professionalism. not only is your interview not doing her justice, but even shaming yourself.
Ann Nil maybe they where allowed to make a 10 min interview, they just said it they weren't allowed to film a behind the scenes, and probably the agreement was to present her videos so she could reach other type of audience. 👏 exactly my thoughts. You’d expect this type of nosy journalism from gossip news. And it’s funny how they try to make it seem like it’s a serious interview, but all I see is a bunch of immature journalists.
Look, I really don’t want to be critical but I gotta say something. This interview just didn’t do justice to Li Ziqi’s image. If the focus on Li Ziqi, why is the interviewer’s angle better than hers? You see the interviewers full face with a beautiful background, and yet we only see the 45 degree side of Li Ziqi’s. And even though she’s maintaining eye contact, (which I might add looks lifeless somehow), it seems like she’s not even fully engaged and paying attention. The reactions seemed so forced and unnatural. And yes you can have notes as a journalist and look at them occasionally, but you have your interviewee’s FULL attention. By lowering your head down that low, the other person is just talking to the top of your head instead of your face. And that outro in the end, was it really necessary to zoom in on someone’s crotch? Just threw off the whole vibe of the video. Journalism was week. They didn’t seem serious enough about giving extra care, attention, and respect to their subject.
I get the idea the interviewer didn’t quite like or even know her. The body language is so aloof sitting opposite Ziqi. By the way, Li is her family name and it’s quite the norm to call her Ziqi rather than Li. No connection at all
The ending was so disappointing, the comments about the bamboo and laughing about it too while you are on camera and then having the brains to upload it as well. That blew my mind. How can you guys not even understand that there are millions of people that live everyday life like how li ziqi shows us through her videos. It's one thing to think that ziqi does not live like this in her videos but to actually laugh at the 10 different types of bamboo and the uses for them is just disrespectful to an entire culture and history that dates back to 100s of years. Li ziqi understands the knowledge and history of bamboo that many people on this planet dont. This also includes the both of you. You both are low key trying to say that li ziqi only does these videos for views and $$, at the same time this entire channel only gets views by interviewing people like li ziqi. It's their fans and supporters that make up the views you guys get.
Agreed i cud see the interviewer fr GOldthread was unprofessional right away. Many will remember that name and not think highly of it. Lets remember togive them a thumbs down. THere are acutally more than 500 species of bamboo in the world. The interviewer prob never set foot outside the city.

Tbh I was wondering about that too. She sounded pretty sour about not being able to film her through their village. Most likely didn't consider that it's not just Li there and the rest might be uncomfortable with random people.
Watch the end of the video that they didn't include in this video: b23.tv/HAlTI3 The interviewer talks about her experience listening to Li and she was extremely unprofessional about it, making it seem like Li is an odd bamboo-obsessed countryside girl.
@@Mihae796 I think it's a bit oversensitive if that's what people are so angry about. The interviewer is basically saying that she believe's Li has the skills and knowledge that are shown in her videos: that if Li can talk spontaneously for 10 minutes about different bamboos and their characteristics, then people skeptical about her abilities in traditional crafts are wrong. Maybe the Chinese translated subtitles make it seem more harsh? As for what was said in English, "Go on about" can feel a bit dismissive, but as English is the interviewer's second language I'd be more likely to believe this wasn't intentional. If you read the write-up on the channel's website the interviewer says this the following, which I think is pretty balanced given the online questions about the channel's authenticity: "The poise that Li displays in her well-polished videos belie a playfulness and spontaneity that only comes out when the camera is off. While we were hanging out on a bridge, Li tried to pluck a lotus flower that was growing an arm’s length away. When she couldn’t reach it, she got down on all fours before completely falling on her stomach, laughing and joking in Sichuanese as she desperately tried to touch the flower. And while Li never utters more than a few words in her videos, off camera, she can be loquacious. While we were waiting to set up for the shoot, she went on for a good five to 10 minutes on the subject of bamboo. Once the cameras were ready, she composed herself again. Viewers often ask whether her videos are real. Indeed, her final pieces are heavily edited-even our interview footage came retouched with heavy filters-but after spending time with her, I believe the question might be moot. While Li’s videos allow her audience to indulge in a fantasy world, many of the techniques she portrays are grounded in real-world knowledge and come from a genuine desire for the pastoral ideal. The only thing she’s sculpted is her on-screen persona"
She has experts on set. She makes furniture, clothes, makeup, alcohol, farms, cooks, even does woodblock printing for goodness sake. It would take decades to become so masterful in all the trades she performs on her channel. I mean no disrespect, the quality of her videos are fantastic. But there's a whole production team behind her channel. Do you think she also buys expensive camera equipment, films, edits, captions, and uploads the videos unto dozens of websites herself too? I'm Chinese living in Australia btw 👍

And then you undermine her efforts to less than the bare minimum by lazily commenting, she picked up her camera and boom she became successful. Your production is filled with underlying sarcasm. You pinning her ❤ comment means nothing because Li Ziqi probably prefers spreading love. People can and have seen through your sarcasm. If you have more sense than your lacklustre originality, apologise officially.
I love her videos but this interview was too superficial. And specially the ending of this video... wtf? Just disrespectful and tasteless. I think they meant to be funny but it doesn't suit the theme of the video at all.
Yeah, you just need to rub your hands first by onion oil ( mixed of fry oil and sliced onion) or non alcohol florist fragnance liquid, better take a shower before that I supposed 😝😝
Who cares if she started out by herself or not? It's undeniably clear that she's incredibly talented in so many things. That should be the focus.. Haters are just jealous cause they're stressed af in their big cities. After watching her for like 2 years now I can vouch for this woman with no regrets. She's simply amazing and I'm so grateful for her stunning videos. Calms me down everytime!
Spot on! Who cares if she has a team behind her or not. Why is it not ok to have a team? Her channel has grown so much. She definitely deserve someone to help her out. All the works She showed, regardless of how talented she is, is just too much for a little girl to handle. Those are not even things she needs to defend.
So many people saying her videos are fake because its not possible to learn do so many things but don't realise that it's just how it is in rural areas. They learn carpentry, cooking, taking care of animals and nature etc from childhood and somehow balance that with school work (i speak from experience). You guys are just so used to having the easy city life where you can order everything to your doorstep that her videos look fake and unrealistic to you, but that is just life to them.
Some terrible reporters. The same attitude with the jealous lazy skeptics who will never understand or accomplish anything in life on Liziqi's level. They lack passion and dedication, these things only come from the heart and actual hard work, not lazy wishful thinking and entitlement.
She could touch my dreams, infact all of our dreams. In our subconscious mind we want to live a life like her. Whatever she is , I love her unconditionally 💕
Ciaran XU Ciaran XU Duh? Take the whole statement not isolate some part of it. The girl was actually amazed of how vast Ziqi’s knowledge about bamboos. Didn’t you hear what she said on the latter part?! (MyGod) To quote “this is like super interesting”!!! Go over the video again before you discredit someone!!!
I'm not quite sure what claims the interviewer was trying to verify, the fact that someone helps Li ZiQi with the videos? Does it matter who takes the videos or how it was taken?
@Don Mega I think her only "fault" seems to be that she's a capable, beautiful woman. If she was a man, especially a white one, the reactions would've been overwhelming praise rather than extreme jealousy. I've known people who live her kind of lifestyle and they manage it very well because they've been taught it since young, as she has, so her achievements are not unbelievable to me. I don't wonder irrelevant questions like why something can be done when people in countries that don't affect me haven't done so. She's not responsible for North Koreans or what they think and do. She's only wanting to share with others how they can have a self-sufficient, independent lifestyle too that's at one with the land and animals. The reporter herself tries to show, at the end, that self-sufficiency is possible since others have done it too. It just didn't seem genuine because her approach throughout the interview has been very weird. I've only seen a bit of LZD's vids, but from what I gather from this vid itself the interviewer finally got a rare chance to enter into LZD's privacy and get some insight into her process. To have used this invitation to cast doubt on her work, doubts that had no basis on sense and logic whatsoever, showed no respect and zero professionalism. If I got invited into a rare backstage interview with Pixar studios for one of their films I don't go pushing irrelevant questions about whether they outsource their work or not in a way to try to downplay their part in the production. At the end of the day, Pixar oversees quality control just as LZD is the boss and decides how things are done. If she feels she can't handle doing the work and physically holding onto the camera, why would that diminish what she's demonstrating? Was the interviewer trying to show that LZD's claims are possibly false? Instead, she only managed to show how petty she herself is. You shouldn't talk poison about a host who's offering you tea and pretend that you're not. At any rate, if people were really unsure of whether her claims work just go ahead and try any one of her suggestions. Or is everyone waiting for North Korea to try it first? And what everyone else says about soft hands is nonsense. Has anyone personally shaken her hands? Technology has not gotten to the point where one can tell the texture of things conclusively via the screen. This rubbish talk just reeks of jealousy. Pity, I don't live there. Otherwise I would've begged for a workshop. If I could learn at least one of her skills I would be happy. She's an absolute inspiration and treasure. I hope more girls will grow up to be like her.
@@justcruisina1ong I think many people including the interviewer just don't like the fact, she is selling an unattainable dream. The persona she created on the internet makes it look, like you can actually run around forest collecting mushrooms, spend hours making dresses and stuff, smell flowers and cook delicious feasts for half a day and live like that care free and it is simply disingenuous. Your anecdotes aside, no matter where you live you can't just have a self-sustainable farm and live off of it, especially as diverse as she has. You have to work to pay taxes/lease/social, and doing that just by farming alone is a full time, difficult labor. It is especially tough in China. Farmers don't own the land there, they lease it from collectives. She can pull it off now, because she worked hard in the city before, got popular on youtube and now the internet sustains her. The amount of people in the comment section talking about how this is the life they want proves the illusion. That type of life is a fiction. You need another source of income, to be this jolly on a farm. The whole premise just doesn't feel honest.
@pumaGCB What anecdotes? I haven't seen her try to sell any merchandise or suggest that her methods would further a commercial farming empire. She's just showing vids of her life, the same as lots of other people on RUclips. People can take it however they want, it doesn't change the fact that her life is like that. If they don't like it, unsubscribe or try some of her stuff to try and debunk her. "Don't knock it till you've tried it." If the interviewer didn't believe in her work she shouldn't have interviewed her. Knowing that LZD is a private person and then going into her private space like that with less than good intentions itself is disingenuous. It is also highly unprofessional. As I said, it's not impossible to live self sustainably like her. Even Jason Scott Lee is off the grid and lives like that to a large extent. At no point did I gather that this was an easy carefree life. There was a lot of manual labour in what LZD had to accomplish. Even with JSL's life there was a lot of manual labour involved in how he maintains his estates but many people around the world have proven that you don't need a lot of money to be able to live a good life that's close to the land and good for the soul. As for unattainable, I don't believe it is. I just believe the cityfied generations have lost the knowledge. If we were to live like her we'd need a lot of training. She was lucky she learnt off her grandparents. It is possible but it'd involve a lot of hard work and commitment for us which is why it would be great if she ran workshops for city slickers (moot point in these covid-19 times of no travel). But yeah, for us to make that leap would be uber hard work but the first step is to believe and then be open to it.
@@pumaGCB Many of us wont even enter China let alone living that life. When was the last time you use your fone? Seriously, her videos are stress reduce effective, that why I watch them.
@@pumaGCB are you familiar with the concept of fantasy? Her videos promote a fantasy, just like those european people living in luxurious castles...no one truly believes one can actually live of self sustained farming, but she makes a fantasy out of the hardwork and poverty to show people that YES all the food you ingest comes from the fields and YES those people working on the field are just as valid as you. I guess you don't have any hardships in your life so come here and call fake a person that wants to put a little beauty to the world.
Venus Wu shouldn’t interview anyone ever again! She should be blacklisted after that ‘talking about bamboo’ comment. Ziqi’s fans would give anything to be able learn about bamboo from her but Venus mocked her knowledge instead.
People around the world often view China and the Chinese people negatively especially around these times of covid. I came across Ly's videos when browsing RUclips. My work in England is hard and a dirty job, I'm in my 50s also it's very tiring on my body. When I saw the amount of work Ly does around the home manually by herself I was in deep admiration of her. Such beauty and charm and zest, sincerity to her family, lifestyle and nature I began to think she is amazing person. I physically felt my heart opening and calming my body, I began to feel tears in my eyes. I had to stop, it is difficult to watch videos of her doing the most wonderful things in the garden and with crafts. She is so talented in her creativity, and shows so much love in her work for many to see but for herself as a person. i see her soul was troubled in her spirit but i see she is filling her life and LIVING now. It is rare that people find a feeling that they are alive. I have had so far only 3 and a half years in 50. Watching Ly's videos i recognise humanity again. She is a beautiful human being and is an ambassador of China and is one of the greatest people I've ever seen on the planet so far. I would spend all the money I had to visit her for one day. It would be one of the greatest honours. I hope one day she would invite me to visit and make a video and spend a day or to with her family..
Li Ziqi please don't let the negative comments bother you. Those people wish they could do what you do. As one of your American subscribers, don't stop. I bartend and when I go home your videos are the first I watch, they really do help with stress relief. And there is the added benefit of learning my grandfather's culture. Xchi xchi

SMH
So true
But with that said if even half of the urbanized population went back to the countryside it wouldn't be sustainable.
Linda T we’ve been robbed of this information by our society and it’s really sad
The difference is, Liziqi makes it look so much more beautiful.
I dont care if she doesn't film the videos herself or no. The fact they are about her and her grandma's life together, how they share and care for one another is beautiful. The videos are enjoyable and instructional, colourful and you can't help but admire the motivation of Li and dedication to every detail.

They even stole one of her vids n re-uploaded it into their own channel, lie through their teeth telling that it was liziqi interview part 1 zzzz
If you watch the video of her harvesting corn you know what she does is real and hard work.

her newly uploaded video of growing to harvesting to cooking rice is spot on real
Watch the vid when she makes the ink and brushes to write with... She MAKES it! The ink takes 1 year to make.
And and and a mushroom she plants that she uses after A YEAR!!😵😍
We did not need to hear how he tore his pants at all.
I’m from South America and truly admire her and her amazing skills and culture. The interviewer was extremely jealous of her beauty and brains
A closer translation of ZiQi's opening statement is
"I would like that when people come home from a hard day of work, they can open my videos and feel a little more light hearted, feel like they are experiencing something beautiful to take away some of the anxiety and stress"
Which is really lovely of her to think of her audience that way
Love her work

Yes, the woman who did the interview sounded arrogant. I mean come on, if Li would talked to me about bamboos, I don't mind listening. I can learn so much from her.
Yup. Bad interview for sure
Totally agreed. They totally played liziqi’s video in the last two parts of “interview” .... they just want more views on their channel! So lame
I think you mean ironic.
I don't think it was arrogant. The problem is that it started as a documentary, but it ended on a strange note as a commentary. Without the ending, the video is fine. The commentary at the end should have been a separate video like behind-the-scenes or whatever.
I was really surprised at the end, i didn't expected that lack of interest and that kind of attitude. So rude.
Yes agree with you
What was the point of adding that snippet at the end? This was the most disrespectful you could have been to your subject. What an utter disgrace to journalism. I wonder why she even agreed to sit in this interview, what lies you spun to her in the proposal. Shameful.

@Flare works harder bro, maybe one day your propaganda will succeed

That ending was completely unnecessary and definitely ruined the interviewer's image in my mind. It seems she doesn't take her interviewees seriously.
Dont understand why Li Ziqi agreed to this cheap interview....
i think she is quite innocent and naive with these foreign asian-face interview teams
Li Ziqi didn't want to be interview with this crazy interviewer but the interviewer just want to share a video with a famous face like Li Ziqi.
Hong Lor Chhong - Why would Li heart an interview she had not wanted to do?
The interviewer is sponsored by South China morning post, which is the most famous paper in Hongkong. It's mainly focus on English speaking audiences. I guess ziqi's team think it's a good channel to broadcast to English audiences. But obviously the reporter didn't treat this interview seriously.
Chinese interview is much much better than this,li talks many about culture, the frist prospect and her life thoughts.THE most important thing is that she sings in that video.
"If you want to see more videos like these"
Not from you I don't. This interviewer was horrible.

The way she ended the video was horrible . "She went on for 10 minutes about bamboo" what are toh trying to say!? You cant even do one task out of the hundreds that liziqi does

@@ashif_tiff yeah if u can't hear the sarcasm there and how she laugh mockingly when reminiscing about the situation, i can't help u

Ok, so, if I could repost this, I would.
So you were honored to be let inside her private world only to mock her love for bamboos and be insincere about this whole interview? Way to go.

I agree with you!!
They didn’t seem serious enough about giving extra care, attention, and respect to their subject.
totally! its just so aggravating!!
I agree
I get the idea the interviewer didn’t quite like or even know her. The body language is so aloof sitting opposite Ziqi. By the way, Li is her family name and it’s quite the norm to call her Ziqi rather than Li. No connection at all
@@jojo111623 on the point of her name, i disagree. its common practice to refer to people by their last names in journalism

The way you said “How she just talked about bamboo” was kinda rude.
the way she calls it "pool of knowledge of the countryside and nature" is dismissive. she has an abyss of knowledge of the traditional culture (and is willing to learn more). She shows the possibility of living in today's urbanite culture.

@@evelee266 Thanks.
This interviewer really unprofessional, sucks
She’s probably being rude , as an interviewer, cause she was expecting a 5 course meal, and a fresh hand made bamboo chair to sit on....
Tbh I was wondering about that too. She sounded pretty sour about not being able to film her through their village. Most likely didn't consider that it's not just Li there and the rest might be uncomfortable with random people.
Watch the end of the video that they didn't include in this video: b23.tv/HAlTI3
The interviewer talks about her experience listening to Li and she was extremely unprofessional about it, making it seem like Li is an odd bamboo-obsessed countryside girl.
Poor mindset, she don't deserve being the interviewer of Ms. Li.
If you read the write-up on the channel's website the interviewer says this the following, which I think is pretty balanced given the online questions about the channel's authenticity:
"The poise that Li displays in her well-polished videos belie a playfulness and spontaneity that only comes out when the camera is off.
@@Mihae796 she probably is lol

@pumaGCB What anecdotes?
"Don't knock it till you've tried it."
If the interviewer didn't believe in her work she shouldn't have interviewed her.
Yes I'm totally pissed of by her bitchy face and the tone when her was talking, even I'm not a Li's fan and I just know her today.
There is no way on earth this was written by a 50 year old manual worker from the UK lol
You guys can find the full version of this video on Facebook. The interviewer was super salty and rude at the end. It’s just disgusting
The reporter at the end was so damn rude
Yea so rude 😵💫
I liked at the beginning of the video but the ending part? Woah, let me take my like back.
finally someone interviewd her! always been interested in her life thanks for upload
How the hell these team got her for interview? And why she agreed to do interview to unknown team?
Li Ziqi please don't let the negative comments bother you. Those people wish they could do what you do. As one of your American subscribers, don't stop. I bartend and when I go home your videos are the first I watch, they really do help with stress relief. And there is the added benefit of learning my grandfather's culture. Xchi xchi
True, whenever I come from office to home, then I just watch one of Lizqi's video as well. Those videos are magic.
‘She rarely does interviews’
Jeez i wonder why that is .... (this horrible interview is an example 😉)
She has struck a chord with me too....a woman from rural New Mexico and I also feel that urban people should learn where food comes from and the many people who grow nd produce the food they see in the stores. Her videos are a healing tonic for me. Beautiful!
