"who get's passionate about tea?" let me tell you, Carrie for christmas, my best friend got me an assortment of teas. she made handmade coloured envelopes for the tea bags which she wrote the names of the teas on in calligraphy. she also wrote me a tea guide of what the teas are like, what to put in them, what mood you should be in when drinking them and what song to listen to when drinking them. not to mention, she got me a mug. she is the most intense tea fan i have ever met in my life
"Who gets passionate about tea?" Well, in 1773, America's Sons of Liberty dumped 342 chests of it in the Boston harbor in protest over tea taxation. I'd say those guys were pretty darn passionate about their tea.
"Who gets passionate about tea?!" all British people apparently, its cures for everything in my family. "I'll put the kettle on" is the most British statement you will ever hear 😂
I always loved the FunnyBones books when I was little, and when I worked as a Kindergarten teacher of EFL, I realised again, this time as an adult, just how perfect their structure and stories are :)
I loved this so much!! The reason why is because your favourites are realistic prices for your audience, and not expensive products. This has given me ideas of what new things to try out without breaking the bank💕
As a frequent watcher of RUclips, it feels me with so much you're doing favourite videos! I take so much interest in what one of my biggest role models enjoys! :)
I love the elderberry and echinacea tea from pukka... just so good especially in winter! Also I can really understand you getting passionate about tea as I myself am a bit obsessed with tea. I even bought a tea advent calender ^^
I tried the jasmine and henna hair treatment from Lush a while ago and LOVED the smell while my hair was wet, but then when it dried it made my hair smell exactly like my dad's steak seasoning 😂
Yes more favourites videos please! The reason I subscribed to your channel all those years ago was that your book recommendations were on point. I'm now seeing that you've a good taste (in my opinion) in lots of other things too :D
This was lovely, I love it! Since I've never been this early, let me tell you something. I started university this year and because of that and all of the stress that comes with it, I haven't felt Christmas-y at all. But thanks to you and pete and gi and tom, with all of your vlogmas videos, I've been feeling a bit better, a bit happier and less "i'm-fallin-onto-a-pit-of-despair-and-failure". So thank you for that. :) xx
Killing the Dead is such a great book! It's definitely worth reading one of his other books, Ghosts of Heaven. It's 4 short stories that are unrelated in plot, setting, characters etc but have the same themes running through them linking them together. I like to think of Killing the Dead as the unofficial 5th story to that collection because it fits with them so perfectly!
I love your hair straight! And curly! But I don't think I've ever seen it straight before! ANDDD I've become addicted to putting Whole Earth peanut butter and honey on a banana and eating it... is that gross. probably.
Joel & Lia oh my god! I love peanut butter and banana. If you take slices of banana and put peanut butter In-between them. It's so good, also dip then in chocolate and freeze them and you will have the best dessert ever.
Those teas look absolutely lovely. As someone who drinks more tea than I probably should tbh, they look incredibly good. The lipstick too. Ooh and I cannot believe that that book was only 10p when it sounds soo good
i looove this favourite video because it seems that you really like these products and you aren't just saying it because they paid you or gave you something, i loved the lipstick, suits you very well. also YAS, another favourite video is welcome! lots of love, xxx
You NEED to try the Lush H'Suan hair treatment! It smells JUST like Christmas, that eggnog spice type of smell! I used it for the second time today before shampooing with the Karma Komba shampoo bar!
I did find my perfect lipstick! It's a deep purple and I am obsessed! Also, I am obsessed with tea too! I've gotten so many tea sets for presents! I ❤ tea! my fave is hibiscus with orange peel and rose hips.
I get so passionate about tea!! No one over here in the US understands the obsession lol! I am so glad you talked about some of your favorite teas! I'll have to go try them!
THAT is why I was inexplicably attracted to this NYX booth in the drugstore! I got two lipcreams one hot pink and one "vintage" which is a brownish burgundy and they're amazing! also the thing held for 10hrs including breakfast, lunch and drinks!!
Carrie, that perfume is so amazing! My mum gave me the same set (probably) of miniature perfumes for my birthday in April and that is honestly the best one, I loved it so much! And the bottle is so gorgeous! Plus it's purple and it's got that tiny rose in it! I just love it. Xo
Aaaand I just read the comment where it says that it might be tested on animals, so disappointing. At least now I am happy I never got around to buying the big bottle :(
You're amazing, Carrie. I thought I was the only getting so passionate about these kinds of things. Love some more book recommendations as well! :) xxx
I moved to London in August and now, after watching your videos for years and years, I finally understand your love for tea. I think I have a problem...
Aaah! After checking your last video about LUSH products and seeing the fluff-ease I immediately checked it out at their website and now seeing it twice and seeing what it does to curly hair, I bought one :) Yay curly hair!
I'd definitely be interested in more favourite-y videos, Carrie. Your love of tea outranks mine but keeps me experimenting with different flavours. I like that you appear on camera, makeup less with wet hair, something I've found very difficult to do with my Vlogmas. 😊 Also can you show us the second dress you dyed? I'm interested to to see how the yellow and white(grey) striped dress went. X
'Birthday Suit' by Sleek is my go-to lipstick now! I never used to wear lipstick but my sister recently got me into it and now that's one of my favourite shades ever. All of their liquid lipsticks are so beautiful
Carrie!! would you consider uploading a mini- makeup tutorial pleaaase? (ps. You're one of the most loveliest person I've ever seen! please share your secret of lovliness with us! :) )
omg elderberry and echinacea is literally my favourite tea ever thank you for appreciating it too, also if you want another tea to try black cherry is amazing (pukka don't do it, my mum found it at some tea store and i can remember who does it but its lush)
I would love for you to do an updated favorites video but just with Lush products. As a curly hair gal, i've begun using R&B from lush and i love what it does to my hair.
I get passionate about tea! One of my favorite gifts from last year was a cinnamon stick tea that my sister ORDERED for me online, because they no longer sell it in stores. I sort of freaked out over it. Also, as I'm typing this, I'm waiting for my water to boil for my harvest pumpkin tea. ❤️❤️❤️
You should try the Stash Premium blueberry tea it's amazing! I really enjoyed this video Carrie, you should definitely do some more favourites in the future :)
So strange, I used to have this rose lipstick a while ago, and I was mulling over NYX's Tea Rose, but I couldn't find any good swatch images online. Nice!
I share your tea passion. My sister bought some loose leaf tea the other day and it's CARAMEL APPLE PIE TEA! Much like your tea the smell is spot on, but the flavour, while enjoyable, is not exactly like caramel apple pie. However, if you add a slice of apple and a little cinnamon to the tea it's basically like eating pie, OMG I love dessert teas
I absolutely love Whole Earth peanut butter! Always look for peanut butter that either uses sustainable palm oil (like Whole Earth) or no palm oil, people! I love the elderberry and echinacea tea, as well. Initially I bought it because I like elderberry and I thought the packaging was pretty but it turned out to be very good for me!
I've somehow gone my whole life (20 years) without drinking a cup of hot tea? I'm from the south so I've had my fair share of sickeningly sweet tea with mountains of ice, but I've never had proper tea. Does anyone know of some types of teas that even people who don't regularly drink tea would like?
I'm a southern baby as well who was raised on sweet tea. My first venture into having hot tea was green tea with a spoonful of honey, it's really light and healthy. Spearmint tea is really refreshing (and not overwhelming like I find peppermint tea to be). For darker, stronger tea, English Breakfast is a good way to go! I find those to be the most universal for people to enjoy. You can always try different flavors at restaurants as well so you don't end up buying a whole box of tea you don't end up drinking. Best go into without trying to compare it to sweet tea though, as now when I have sweet tea it feels more like drinking soda than tea.
holypicklesmofo maybe try out green tea with honey, english breakfast tea with milk and honey, any fruit tea, peppermint tea, rooibos tea , rose hip tea (if you can get one in the us),but my advice is: just go wild. Try different stuff out and maybe get a box with different kinds of teas :)
I'd recommend earl grey as a classic black tea (mix with sugar and milk to your taste if you want), or most fruity teas are nice, herbal teas can be good often with a little honey added (ginger is lovely if you like that taste, especially if you add some lemon and honey) some love green tea but it tends to be pretty bitter/take some adjusting to for someone who doesn't drink tea (and I love tea but still hate the green stuff haha). That should be some good stuff to get you started!
Hey, Carrie! Loved the video! Do you have a favorite Ukulele? I really want to ask for one for Christmas, but I have no idea which one to ask for! Do you have a suggestion for what kind is your favorite or sounds good and holds up well??? P.S. You're the greatest! :)
The jelly & ice cream tea smell is perfect! x
"i really really recommend killing the dead" i see you're already fitting into the character of wednesday
I thought that 😂
"who get's passionate about tea?" let me tell you, Carrie

Touche! xxx
"Who gets passionate about tea?!"
all British people apparently, its cures for everything in my family. "I'll put the kettle on" is the most British statement you will ever hear 😂
All the dark, dark phrases reminded me of the "bones" kids books I used to read as a child :)
I always loved the FunnyBones books when I was little, and when I worked as a Kindergarten teacher of EFL, I realised again, this time as an adult, just how perfect their structure and stories are :)
I thought the same thing. Wondered if I was going to be the only one lol.
I love how this basically a time-lapse of your hair getting more and more curly.
I loved this so much!! The reason why is because your favourites are realistic prices for your audience, and not expensive products. This has given me ideas of what new things to try out without breaking the bank💕
Absolutely!I don't exactly have the money to be splashing out on products so everything is usually going to be affordable in my favourites videos!
ItsWayPastMyBedTime Woop woop :) looking forward to more in the future, merry Christmas!!🎄❄️xx

I love how excited and enthusiastic you got when you was talking about the jelly and ice cream tea! 😂😂
I am also passionate about tea (I'm a Yorkshire Tea girl, which is occasionally hard to find in the States). Tea is VERY IMPORTANT, Carrie!
I love the elderberry and echinacea tea from pukka... just so good especially in winter! Also I can really understand you getting passionate about tea as I myself am a bit obsessed with tea. I even bought a tea advent calender ^^
Thank you so much for introducing midnight rose into my life 😍

I love that perfum too...I've used it a few times in the past years
This was lovely, I love it!
Since I've never been this early, let me tell you something. I started university this year and because of that and all of the stress that comes with it, I haven't felt Christmas-y at all.
Sydney Young That's such a good idea! Always looking for healthy(ish!) desserts! So thanks for that!
I love Peanut butter and banana! Especially on toast in the morning
Joel & Lia, Carrie did a video of pete straightening her hair and you get to see her hair straight at the end of the video.
Those teas look absolutely lovely. As someone who drinks more tea than I probably should tbh, they look incredibly good. The lipstick too. Ooh and I cannot believe that that book was only 10p when it sounds soo good
