Hi! I just want to leave message here saying THANK YOU for posting this video! My mare reared and flipped over, losing me in the process, at the beach. She got up and ran straight away from the ocean, and I could only track her through the sand until the brush. We were about 2 miles from our camp, and she had no idea where she was. My group came together and I found this video searching for good horse calls to help guide her home. She was missing for 2 full days and was found pretty near (maybe a half mile) camp right before twilight ended. I do believe that this video helped guide her home
I noticed that, unlike dogs, and I might be wrong, when tethered, horses rarely pull or try to escape, if ever. She neighs but she does not move in the direction of her friends.
Played it to two horse on a trip to Bayern, Germany and Lord Jesus they ran to us like crazy. It was very scary. Thankfully they were in electric fences.
