@@CandleRomance did you test smaller amounts as well? I can see that almost every article suggests adding about 0.5 - 1 teaspoon (not tablespoon) per one pound of wax. I didn't use coconut oil before and I'm going to give it a try tomorrow, but I'm curious about your experience with the ratios
@@Rina-lt7om it's not the wax, it may be the wrong combination of wax/fragranceoil/wick. It takes a lot of testing to get the right combination. I use No.7 wax with CDN wick series and 10percent fragrance load, and only cure for 2 days, and get excellent results every time.

@@PanGargamel you could try the smaller amounts and see if it works for you. I haven't tried using it again since that video was filmed.
Hi Michael! How much coconut oil did you add to the 464?
a teaspoon for each candle I believe.
can you smell the coconut oil in the wax ?
not at all, just the beautiful fragrance oil. I also conducted a hot throw test and it's the same as the wax without coconut oil.
do you use parrafin wax?
No, I personally don't use parrafin wax. There's other waxes that I think are best for high quality candles.
thank you .. i used soy wax but after curing time and i lit the candle i dont smell any scent 😭

Good morning, thank you for your support!
I use coconut/soy wax and I get a smooth top every time. Why don't you just switch to coconut/soy
I'm currently using Soy Bliss wax, and it's my favorite so far, I get it at Hive and Honey
How much CO did you add? I use GW464 💙
I believe I added a teaspoon for this video. Typically it should be a tablespoon per 16oz of wax.
