Thank you so much, I am in a wheelchair and will never be able to experience this in person, so your videos on a 65 inch TV are heaven for people like me!
This was amazing. It was fantastic that you show the scenery, and the lake. Excellent film. I really appreciate it! It makes treadmill time in winter more bearable!
Walking along with you in my livingroom in high desert CA. Quite the contrast. Love the lush greenery, ferns, moss, water puddles and dripping trees ( I've always called it tree pee)🤣. Looks slippery! Be careful! Wouldn't want to hurt yourself or the camera! Thank you SO much! BTW I've walked other videos by you too. Northern CA and Oregon!❤
Glad you enjoy them. Yeah, I hold the camera out in front so that my feet are right in my line of view near the camera's viewfinder. No major falls up to now. Thanks for caring!
This is a great one. I’ve seen a lot of these virtual hikes and this video is smooth, filmed nice and low, without pointing down, so your in the trail and in focus. Thank you for the effort you put into this. Great job. Much love. 🙏
+DarkWhisper07 Hey I'm happy to do it. Yes, it is fun. In fact, the camera stabilizer I'm holding onto in the video has some weight to it, so I'm getting an upper body workout along with the legs.
Hey! Just found your channel. I'm trying to get in shape for a thru hike on the AT, and your vids really help with the monotonous indoor training, your a lifesaver :)
+Penny Dreadful Moment The sun is out tomorrow in Oregon, so the plan is to videotape another hike, this time over on the coast, near Florence, if I can make the time for it.
Not that day. If there is a light wind there, it is usually up high in the forest canopy. On the rare very windy days, I won't hike up there. More often than not this is how calm it is there, at least in spring, summer and fall. Occasionally on days like this when you get out to the edge of the lake you'll feel a breeze, but much less so under the canopy.

Love it, love the calmness of it
Thank you so much! This make work on the treadmill so much more bearable during cold cold weather.
I can relate! Look at my most recent snow hikes - very cold up the mountain here but beautiful to see.
Thank you for all the great hikes! They are such a stress reliever when I can't actually go hiking!
You're welcome and I'm glad they help you! There'll be many more of these to come!

This is wonderful for my mom to watch while she is on the treadmill. Thanks so much! :)

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see it :)
awesome job.
thanks
I appreciate you 🤗
:) Such a nice thing to say!
I find it very weird that not a single leaf or branch of a tree/bush swayed. Is there no wind or breeze at all in this place?

Great video! How do you get such a stable video? My hiking videos have a lot of movement regardless if I'm holding or wearing it... Any tips?
Thanks Julie! - with this particular video I simply walked slow, then in post the RUclips stabilizer was used.
What mic you use to capture the sound?
Usually I use an H2N audio recorder, with a road kill cover over the microphones.
What type of camera please ???
On this hike it was a Canon SX50.
