My baba arrived four weeks early. I walked into hospital the weekend I was meant to wash his clothes. I literally went to hospital with just my toiletries and his toiletries and a small throw for myself. My husband had to take his vests, onesies and receiving blankets to my parent’s house so my mommy could hand wash his clothes. My water broke on Saturday morning at 03:00 and I pushed him out on Sunday evening at 23:15, so by the time my husband was allowed into the delivery room (Covid regulations) all his clothes were ready. We stayed in hospital together for two nights so we still had a tiny bag for both of us. I was sooooo tired and he slept the entire time we were in hospital that he only bathed once when they were teaching me how to bath him. I didn’t even think to even buy him a going home outfit. I was soooo confused and overwhelmed as a FTM so this video is really lovely to watch for when we have baby no. 2 💙. I also was advised by both my mommy and mom-in-law not to buy clothes for him until he was born. Was it the same for you with Kgosi momma?
Sjoe!! What a labor and delivery story! Askies mama... See, its so important to pack earlier... My husband would be so lost having to find things on my behalf haha. So yours did well, kudos to him! I know that's common in some cultures and families. We (my husband and I) don't necessarily follow many rules when it comes to those things. We really do what we we believe is right for our little family.
@Grow_withme I agree too! It worked so well for me. My little angel is now almost 2 months🤗 @Masimthembe Nokeri Congratulations mama! I pray for a safe delivery❤
I wish every new Mom comes across this video, I wasn’t told much about the tummy tucking had I known sooner I would have been better prepared. This video is perfect Massi and very informative.
Oh babe, being a FTM you get to miss some things naturally because you we don’t know much at that point. I hope you’ve started now, even after baby it can be effective ❤️
So true hospitals often give alot of baby toiletries and nappies ,my hospital gave me a list on what to bring it was pretty basic, I had one baby outfit to go home .
I wish I used it sooner during my first pregnancy🥺 But it really works beautifully for the time I’ve used it friend. I look forward to binding away in hospital too this time 😅❤️
I used a suitcase as well, everything went in there,my pyjamas, big t-shirts,chargers,snacks,and baby clothes and the nurses were like, girl do you think this is a hotel or something you are too fancy
😂 I love it!! No you did well babe. Also multiple bags can have you lose your mind… you won’t even know which item is in which bag. Argh one big bag saves time and sanity honestly.
😂😂😂😂I had also packed a suitcase & bag for baby and one of the nurses laughed at me & said I don’t need most of the things I had packed. And I ended up not using a lot of the things I had packed…
Totally! They’re the best to be honest. I’m only bringing extra incase we need to stay longer and need more… otherwise they provide really well for us as their clients ❤️
I love how simple your outfits are. I must admit, I went overboard with the clothes for my son. Ama set amaningi, those big furry onesies and none of them fit. Everything was too big. Went back and bought a few newborn size things coz it was like my son had been borrowed his clothes🤣🤣🤣
🤣 I can imagine! I have more 0-3s than newborns too. But to hospital I definitely bring newborn sizes because they can be so tiny and for good pictures, I need clothes that fit hahahaha ❤️
I’ve only ever had SS babies so I have no idea how Winter babies could be catered for mommy hey. I suppose it’s different because you’d probably stock more hooded fluffy jumpers and grows in tiny sizes. Whereas with me those are already in 3-6 & 6-9 months sizes you know. I can’t even tell which may be better 😅 Just know both have their cons. I deal with flies and humidity in the summer and that affect our sleep.
☺️☺️ thank you mtase. Ha a it won’t mtasekhaya. So the scar is also covered nicely after the fact. But even after a couple of weeks, the binder isn’t too strong or too firm to hurt it. A waist trainer may. But not this one.
I’ve been putting off packing my hospital bag for so long! This video has inspired me to do it today! 🙈 Thank you Masi ❤️
So glad you’re up and ready to get yours together too mama! All the best and congratulations 😅🎉❤️
Having a baby in June. Thanks God i came across this channel. You are beautiful mama ❤❤❤
Due in 3 weeks time. Already packed my bags mines and babys but now you giving me an idea I'm repacking everything in one big bag. Thanks mommy

I enjoyed your video. I was debating on carrying a suitcase vs the smaller bags. Was worried people would think I'm moving in to the hospital🤣🤣
Girl, pack that suitcase and push it through those doors😂 You’ll get eyes but listen, it’s worth it. Trust me.
All the best♥️
Love the tip about packing way ahead and doubling when buying cosmetics.
Absolutely! So you don’t forget anything ☺️☺️
Using one big bag is so convenient
Totally! Just throw everything in there😅

Exactly. Literally just bringing these for photos and going home too. I’m not trying to bring his wardrobe there. So unnecessary.
One big bag is the best tip. 💯
Right!!!
Carriwell belly binder works so well to support the core 🙌. Took it to hospital too
I wish I used it sooner during my first pregnancy🥺 But it really works beautifully for the time I’ve used it friend. I look forward to binding away in hospital too this time 😅❤️
@@massinokeri i know this comment is a year later but trust me il def need the carriwell binder ....thanks for the advices ladies❤

I gave birth at a mediclinic and whatever they suggested I bring, was all I needed, I didn’t even bring nappies, they provided everything.
Totally! They’re the best to be honest. I’m only bringing extra incase we need to stay longer and need more… otherwise they provide really well for us as their clients ❤️
Same here I went in with a suitcase... very helpful
It makes sense right!! Ei many bags get me confused 😅
@@massinokeri 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 very true
There’s 3 items I need to add into my hospital bag. Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful. ❤️

The belly binder will also assist with pain
I had no idea it helps with pain. That’s great!
Looking fresh mama, carrying a big luggage bag is a great idea then carrying many bags. Babas bag is sooo cute man, please share where I can get it
Totally. It makes much more sense.
The bag is from Luella 😊❤️

I actually had a winter baby. Always curious how that differs to a summer baby ito planning and all that. Is summer better?

Ahhh Mommy. I had 2 babies and I still don't know about nipple shields 🙈 and I also have flat nipples
😂 motherhood is a never ending journey of learning mama. Knew of them on the day Kgosi was born literally.
I always look so terrible in hospital.. Wouldn't even think of having a Photoshoot 😂
😂😂no maaaaaan mama!
I packed my bag the day of my csection 😭thinking about it now, it was risky yhui😹
