Maybe you can try to keep the classics intel by text and add some info by voice? )
You had a great benefit. I could watch your videos on my way to the job and return without headphones. Now I'm struggling because of RUclips subtitles that aren't usable.
So, to sum it up: - if I use my own voice, people complain about my accent -if I use synthetized voice, people complain about lack of emotion - if I use hard-coded subs, people complain about having to read and uneven pacing Sounds like I can just as well shut the channel down.
People will always express what they prefer and its impossible to keep everyone happy as we are all individuals and we all like different things. In the end of the day do what you prefer and what ever you decide upon people will just get used to it.
I personally like the subtitles more, the TTS voice is the same as a lot of other low effort channels use which makes this entire video feel cheap giving the same kind of impact on this video. I've always considered your channel one of the higher quality ones and using a TTS voice just feels like including a 1$ charging brick with a 1000$ smartphone. (+ it just takes away the chill music background while looking at lego and reading your comments about it, makes it too chaotic for me. If it was in your own voice it would probably be fine but the tts is quite harsh and takes away the chill vibe from it of just watching a lego review).

Can't help but wonder what could be MOCed out of this + 42111. Oh, and I like the voice feature. I think it's better than text.
I regularly build constraction models, and in that system Technic plays a huge role much like the way it's used in this set. It's not used because it allows easy integrated functions, but because it's a very useful and versatile construction system. You'd be surprised how good you can make models look by using 80-90% Technic and only a little bit of system for the finishing touches! I do agree with you on the accuracy department: it looks almost nothing like the source material, which would indeed have been nearly impossible to achieve as well. But I can very much appreciate the effort that went into making this thing as interesting as it is. I personally don't think this set looks bad at all, just not great or accurate. But the building techniques used here are pure genius all around. The only reason I'd agree this doesn't belong in the Technic lineup is because it's not so much about the functions, not because it shouldn't be built with Technic parts. And to be fair, Technic has been pretty weak on the functions side of things anyways lately so I'd even say it's pretty good compared to its siblings... A great comparison IMO would be the Mclaren Senna. It barely has any functions but it's filled with almost unnecessarily complex building techniques to allow for the great body shaping, which only is possible due to the Technic system. This looks worse than the Senna, yes, but it also features a lot more inventive functions so I'd say it's a good set overall.
Wow, your accent changed… :D thanks for this, the voice over was brilliant for me as i am visually impaired which helped me keep my view on the video content rather than the subtitles

I always wondered why lego haven't put more lighting pieces because with the old PF you needed several motor sets in order to get switches and lights unless you bought the light piece from lego. Now with the current control + you are even more limited due to the unstackability of the electric elements. Because if the BT elements allowed a separated module without a battery box, it would have been fine, but here you need either one battery box for two elements or one for four... Don't mind the voice though it is robotic. Subjectively you're not wrong about the looks of this thing though personally I kind of like the tripped out muscle car aesthetic the movie went for. A lot of comparisons to Knight Rider's Kit though I'm very much reminded of the car from Netflix's Sound & Fury which to be fair seemed also Kit inspired. Though I think I like this one significantly more than the F&F set, the Raptor still wins it for being in a similar price/point, and having a working/effective suspension. Definitely planning to get both at some point.

But actually, since it has that diff and no suspension, which prevents anything from rubbing the wheels (something Lego doesn't care about much) and since there's plenty of space inside, could it be possible that Lego meant it to be an R/C during the early stages of development?
Not at this price, that's for sure. Scale is unlikely, too.
There's no engine in the front because it's in the back
Yeah, so why are there flames in the front?
Opinions on the voice:
It's ok, I don't mind it, I can go subtitles or voice, you've been using subtitles for a long time, so some of us aren't used to it, but I don't mind, also, with the voice, I can do other things while listening (eg, typing this comment while listening)
I can go either way, but if I really had to choose, I would say voice but by the smallest of margins
Sorry but i'm not a fan of the robotic voice, i prefer the captions you always did
