Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Guam Type (CRB-G)

A new strain of coconut rhinoceros beetles called the CRB-G or Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Guam Type (CRB-G) is destroying coconut plantations in the Pacific and affecting thousands of livelihoods. SPC's Land Resources Division is working closely with partners and country counterparts to help stem the tide of these coconut pests.
