- I have 1 large 4ft X 13ft production table for my vinyl work area. I just completed a 2nd (43" X 60") to extend off my light table. I use 2x4's, OSB sheeting (plywood) for the bottom storage area but I like to use MDF for the table top because it is strong and rigid. I then like to top the MDF off with a sheet of White 1/8" or 3/16" Acrylic. To cut the MDF and Acrylic I use a LENOX 7 1/2" 60 tooth Carbide Blade with the link below. Most products can be bought at the local home improvement store, the Acrylic you should source from a local sign supplier for the cheapest cost. I added some links for the MDF, Acrylic and the Saw Blade just for the details.

I loved the mtf cat 🐈
That was the Queen Chloe... 14 + years old and still going strong.
Love the kitty!!! And your content! Thanks! ... more kitty in videos please!
She is pretty exclusive... 🤣🤣
Thank you !
You're welcome!
I've been using HDPE for table tops for years, but I think you've talked me into using acrylic. HDPE (Rink Board) is nice to cut on and will last a long time but it has a high expansion rate and will buckle with temperature change. I think the acrylic would be a much more stable surface. Awesome content! Keep it coming!
Thanks again Weston! What I use may not work for everyone and the Acrylic is about the most expensive part of the table. I've been using the Acrylic for about 10 years now, other then the cost I have zero complaints.
Love the content! Saving this for future plans when I have bigger space to work with. Thx!
Thanks for watching!!!
😂 love the cat 😂
She is a 14 years old cat that does not have a care in the world... Every once in a while she will grace me with her presence by walking in the shop.
I think ima use acrylic too instead ofself healing for a 5x10 table actually 2 tables
Been working great for me for years. Just make sure you have long arms to reach across a 5 ft table, I can barely reach across my 4ft wide... LOL
How does the Acrylic hold up to scoring/marking from the razor blades?
Going on 10 years and other than scratching it, they still work great.
Great video as always, and definitely going to be switching my table top. The cut mat I have refuses to lay flat. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your mask roll holder?
Don't mind at all. I bought those off of eBay about 10 years ago, the problem is I can't find them anywhere. But I'm working on remaking some as I see there is a need for them, as soon as they are available I'll let my subscribers know.
@@TheSignGuy great thank you!!
@@TheSignGuy Hey Buddy, Good Stuff as always How tall is the table???
@@coachdonhighdfw Thanks!!! Mine is 37" tall
@@TheSignGuy So you suggest a Minimum of 4'x8' feet and 3' Tall??
Where did you get the application tape holder
I got those holders off of ebay maybe 10+ years ago. I can't find them any more but I'm working on holders, will let everyone know when they are ready.

@@CharlieLmarsh I have 10pieces that came out okay I have on hand. Gave up on the process, took to long and went through a few different printers.
what is the brand of your transfer tape dispensers
They were unbranded holders I bought off of ebay 13 years ago... I for the life of me can not find them anymore but trying to get them made.
