Heres my theory:
Dragon is multiple entities combined into one, and one of the entities is one of the most troubled and insane, and begins to take control.

That's a really interesting theory, I never would have thought about that. Good job! Also I was thinking, maybe when the meme shows a black background and the characters drawn in white, maybe that's then fighting for control over the dragon. Just a thought.

Don't get me wrong it is a good theory but in the grrrls meme that was released after this meme shows that black dragon, merlin, Alice, scorpion doggo/ dragon thing, and some others side by side. So I'm not sure if that is exactly it unless you don't need all of the characters to fuse into the black dragon. (Also I know this comment was released before the grrrls meme.)

Some things I wanted to point out
The characters in 0:29 and 0:41 have the same symbol on their chests, they also seem to have the same ears, possibly the same people?
1:04-1:07, one character seems to have drowned, the next character is smirking, did they cause that one to drown?
Then after that frame it shows what seems to be the same character laying on the floor gripping their head like they're guilty or are hearing stuff.
1:14 The dragon or what not probably told the other character something devastating, hence why they seem traumatized, or sad.
Right after that it shows what could be the same dragon thing growling, then bleeding and wounded heavily, it then switches to what could be the dog in the previous frame snarling.
I hope this'll help with your backstory stuff and guessing it.

(I assumed the character was male sorry if I am wrong.)
Your character was once a noble prince or part of a royal throne. There was a turn when his subjects turned against him leaving the people he thought were his friends betraying him. He was out raged as someone had framed him and is vengeful.
Second Theory:
Your character lives in a town run a by a higharcy the king/queen abused the power and led your character friends to betray them. Your character out rages came and stood up for what he knew.

Ok theory time! The main character used to be a prince or a king ( because we saw a pic of them with a crown on their head ) but was later on cursed by a hooded shadow figure ( as seen in a pic ) but the last straw was when his friend dies but he doesn't know they actually don't die.( seen before the character with the skull )Not knowing this he then turns to a live of evil. ( and possible wears the skull of someone he killed) That's all I got!

Ok so I'll probably finally give a theory.
So uhm..Merlin in the beggining is thinking about his friends and all these animals are trapped in a world...and in this world there is a God who fulfills desires, and he brought back to life some of the animals that died(and that's why Nina has stitches + I saw that at: 0:57 ). And the dragon at the end. I think finally know who is him. Look at the horns and the eyes, and you told he is your bby so.. The purple creature with the skull head turned into this creature and now it's more powerfull? Anyways, I'm probably wrong XD

The black dragon wanted revenge for something that the others were not at fault for, and he harmed or killed everyone but the black and white one. It ends with them at war for what was now the black and white ones revenge.
OR, the dragon is the black and white one. He had limited time that was ticking like a bomb before he slowly lost control of himself. He couldn't tell them and ended up turning on all of them.

So Merlin is the main character and the rest was his friend and they got murdered one by one by the black dragon.
The flashing back parts were Merlin thinking of his friends.

He seems to be thinking about the friends he used to have and trust, but he was corrupted by something dark and evil and he wants to be going back to the way he was. He might have also betrayed/attacked the wolf with the scars, and that wolf is now sewed up from the wounds that the dragon gave them. (Don't mean to assume genders of the dragon sorry!)

The main character is the raptor at the beginning who has many friends (and I guess he is sane at that moment, having flashbacks from his friends). And there even is a mysterious guy in a cape, though I can't be sure if he caused the raptor to become evil or if it was once one of his friends qwq aside that I think that his friends are broken inside (tho I can't be sure if they already were like that or if that's because of the main reason I'm going to mention xD). Another theory for that could be that the raptor realizes sth (maybe his friends were mean or more like the raptor was sad that he couldn't help his friends outta being sad/broken and that could be a big reason why he went mad but I can't be sure wah TwT) and that makes him go mad/evil (did I just repeat myself? XD). Oh and to release his friends outta the pain, he cut parts of their bodies (or more like kills them?) to stitch them together to make a monster out of it. Aaaand the black dragon with the skull could be the raptor being totally mad and evil.

CrownedX Wolf the dragon, is a killer, (the reason he has a skull) and is also a phycopath. His friends (other charecters) realized this and turn against him. The dragon then gets offended and try to kill them as well. They escape, but he is still on the loose and trying to get them. (I know it's terrible, I just want a gift)
CrownedX Wolf i have more theories. Maybe those all wete flashbacks of his friends, representing also his sanity. But when all passes, the video advances, you can see that the characters are sadder, angrier, or creepier. The character is starting to loose its mental sanity. And then all the characters that seem to ge its friends, see a body dead, then, it recovers and a "different wolf" comes up. Maybe, the wolf had a lot of friends, but then maybe it started to have or think something that made them loose them, then something happened, and it died. Then, the hooded character (maybe) recovered its body, but maybe modified its mind. So the dragon represents the characters insanity, stress, depression and stuff, *the drowning one confirms it too, like its faling and loosing everything*. Basically that

That was a metaforic way to see it. But theres other. Maybe, the dragon posesed the wolf, forcing it to kill and hurt... etc... but, inside, the wolf was conscient of what he was doing. That explains the image of her with the paws on her head, and the one with a "fighter" face, like, struggling

Thisis my theory:
At the start when the characters appear at the side is when he was thinking about them and then the guy in the hoodie made a deal with him (the deal was to bring his friend (nina)back alive but he had to pay the price so his mind was clouded with trying to get his friend (nina) back so the part where you see a character there with cut off parts and the character suddenly woke up and was stitched is when he became a black dragon by the deal of the dealer and was engulfed by chaos and killed his friends.

First of all, this took a while for me to figure out as I spent like half an hour writing down things I saw from the Ticking Meme and a few notes about the On & On Meme as well as the Fantasize Meme. I find it weird you only mention which Animation Meme Emrys and Diana is in while not acknowledging that Nina has a piece of backstory as well in the White Flag Meme. You even never mentioned how the Black Dragon (I'm assuming that one with the skull) is in the Suicide Meme you did. The Bird Song included a piece of.. Alice attempting at killing someone? Then Merlin (Black and White..animal who has others characters popping up while his eyes are closed?)comes in with the royal guards?. And this says it's a lil back story thing as well. Originally I thought Merlin was the one in the beginning of the Ticking Meme, but it was Alice, wasnt it? Merlin has two tails, but the character in the beginning had one, and looks fairly similar to Alice. And around 0:24 to 0:30 two seemingly different characters popped up, Emrys and the one with a purple scarf along with a symbol on it. At first, I couldn't figure out why the scarfed character seemed familair, but then I realized it IS Emrys, just without his wings and more closed up to the camera. Around 0:40 a black/purple unnamed character popped up with the SAME symbol as Emrys' scarf- weird. I assumed it was Emrys when seeing the symbol, but even Diana has the same symbol on her ear when she is a white/blue character. Around 0:57 there is a monster with an odd eye in its mouth- in Nina's appearance in the White Flag Meme, you mentioned a Dream God that only appears in dreams and grants wishes in exchange to posses the wisher's body (I made up a word wups). I'm assuming Nina made a wish with the God. Also, Diana nor Nina look the same way anymore, neither does Emrys when they seem to be in contact with the God in any way. BACK TO THE TICKING MEME: To start off, Alice is in the beginning of the Ticking Meme, probably scared as she is seen crying. This could be a little nod to the Bird Song PMV when she attempted to kill someone. Next, we see Merlin with his head down, eyes closed as he seems to be thinking about all these people he knows. The first he thinks about is himself with a crown- which either means he has some royalty in him OR.. he wants to be king/prince in some way. Next, Emrys pops up with his wings yet in the next frame, he does not seem to have wings and seems.. malicious in some way as well has a strange symbol. He then disappears by swiping to the left. Next, Idris appears, but nothing important seems to happen, same with Aisha and Alice. Now, the 7th person to appear with statics, having the same symbol as Emrys. It smiles then disappears with static once again. Then Nina appears and she seems to refuse to look at the viewers, probably regretting something or deep in thought. Finally, Diana appears and immediately you notice there's two of her. On the left, you see she is Blue and White along with the same symbol as before on her ear. She seems sad there. On the right, she has her original look, seeming happy. These two designs appeared in the Fantasize Meme as well. After that, a pair of eyes appear on the screen and I assume they are Merlin's eyes. It appears that he is possessed by the monster I mentioned earlier/ the Dream God. After that, the Monster/Dream God appears and shortly after that~ Alice, Emrys, and Merlin seem to be shocked. Then, we see Nina on the ground with cuts on her as well as the tip of her tail cut off, but then she gets stitches and she's alive one again. THEN THE DANG BLACK DRAGON APPEARS alone with a few scenes. The first we see is a wolf with a weirdly shaped mouth- who are they? The same little wolf wrapped on Diana's shoulder in the On&On Meme. The ears and arms look very similar, really. The three fluffs on the elbow and the two fluffs on the ears. We never did see the little wolf's mouth in the On&On Meme. Maybe it keeps a hold on Diana or watches her for the Monster/Dream God when she is awake? The second scene we see is Diana is crying, whether she is drowning in water or falling from the sky, I think it is safe to assume she is having a near death experience OR she did die after that. Third scene is Nina (with stitches) smiling. Fourth has her on the ground, holding her head and then her eyes flashing on the screen with the same eye color as the Monster/Dream God. Fifth has Emrys and Alice(or Aisha). Sixth has Alice ( or Aisha) dying from their head being cut off. Seventh has Emrys(?) I'm a defensive pose. NOW fOR THE THEORY:
Merlin is possessed by the monster/dream God. He could have been possessed by the Dream God for a wish he wanted, to know who killed the wolf from the first scene during the time the black dragon appeared. The wolf is most likely from the Bird Song and I am assuming the reason why Alice (or Aisha) died from their head being cut off in the sixth scene is because they were the ones who killed the wolf (as shown in the Bird Song.) ∆ Also, Merlin IS royalty, probably a prince or a king seeing as in the Bird Song, he has the royal guards with him and when he seemingly thinks about himself in this Meme, he has a crown 👑. ∆ Merlin is thinking about the characters he met, and the ones that were swiped away seems to have reappeared later in the video such as: Emrys when he has the scarf, Alice, Diana, and Nina as well as Merlin himself. ➡️The ones who seemed shocked/appeared after the monster/dream God appeared seemed to have been in contact with it in some way such as Merlin shown with it's eye color before the white flashes along with Nina after she got her stitches /and/ Emrys who has a symbol on his scarf. As for Alice? She got nothing from it, but probably started this mess because she is shown in the beginning, probably scared, or guilty now that I think about it. ∆ Either Nina or Emrys asked for the wish of Nina being whole again from the Monster/Dream God. Most likely Nina seeing as her eyes had the monsters eyes at one point- even showing that she tried not to let the monster in her mind, but failed. ∆ Nina killed Diana shown during the black dragon flashes ➡️ Alice (or Aisha) is angry and goes forward to attack, but gets her head cut off then dies, leaving Emrys there to be killed as well, but shown earlier-- Emrys gets a scarf with a symbol on it so it's safe to assume he lived. ∆ The weird static purple/black cloaked thing has a symbol on it's chest ➡️ safe to assume Diana and Emrys is under it's control since the purple/black cloaked thing has a symbol on it's cloak. ∆ like to point out the purple/black cloaked thing probably has a connection with the Black Dragon since the Black dragon has purple eyes. ∆ I'd also like to point out the purple/black thing had statics on it when it appeared and disappeared ➡️ the same sort of happened with blue/white Diana. ∆ i like to think the monster/dream God's name is Morpheus. ∆ I'd also like to think the monster/dream God's enemy is the purple/black cloaked thing or it's ally ∆ ok that's all I have haha I'm dead

CrownedX Wolf A H HH, It took a while for me to connect stuff. By the way, I forgot to mention both Emrys and Diana were spitting out a purple liquid in their own Animation Memes which also made me think the purple/black cloaked thing is controlling them in some way.
