The best thing about the Cheetah stripes/spots argument is that the entire time Arin was thinking about leopards, not cheetahs.
Not only was he wrong he was wrong for two animals. Love it.

No, it isn't. Dan suggests that what Arin meant is to do things that make them happy, thus creating the "good brain juice", but Arin tells him that isn't what he meant.

as a person with ADHD, i can confirm that arins explanation of Good Brain Juice is not only 100% true, it was presented in the most ADHD way possible
..... I have severe ADHD and I cannot comprehend what either of you are saying. ADHD is a dopamine deficiency causing malfunction in the firing of synapses. You just take uppers, to get dopamine levels that are closer to normal.
Like I don't even think his analogy works.... Because I'd say a better way to describe ADHD is driving a car with a damaged manual transmission. Sometimes you're perfectly in sync and changing gears without issue but most of the time shits slipping out of gear and your struggling to keep it going.
@@DarthquackiusI’ve got adhd, and no matter what analogy you use: it all boils down to feeling out of control, as if you know what you should do, but you just can’t bring yourself to do it. It’s like being lazy, except lazy people are blissfully ignorant of their responsibilities. ADHD people are usually fully aware of what they should be doing, but they just have no biological motivation to do it.
I just love Dan's reaction at the beginning, saying "Sometimes I think you should just finish High School", and then the rest of the compilation is a series of Dan's moments of surprise with Arin.
As someone with ADHD the whole "Brain Juice" ramble makes PERFECT sense to me. XD

I learned I have ADHD from that rant.
The first time I saw it in the original video, I paused the video, stood up from my desk in my empty bedroom and said out loud, "Oh my God, I have ADHD!"

I really like the "What if Einstein had a different name?" moment because while Arin has a point, he's still off target. Einstein was his surname, so by saying he'd be "Fred" and not Einstein, Arin is saying the scientist's name would be Albert Fred.
The best part of that is Dan replying "He'd still be Einstein" and being correct on both counts which flew totally over Arin's head.
I love the pauses when Dan tries to gage wether Arin is being serious or not

For the record, Fuji-san doesn't mean "Mr. Fuji". "San" is used both for as a suffix for Mr/Mrs and for mountain.
There's no gendered word in Japanese for Mr./Mrs. so it's the closest equivalent. If Mr. Fuji is a man then that would translate to Fuji san, which is also how you say Mt. Fuji in Japanese. There's gotta be a Japanese pun in there somewhere.

But San is a very popular word in Japanese, and the kanji for san mountain is different from san person, which is different from san three. They are all san, but they are spelled...written...drawn differently, because they mean different things.

At times, it seems that Arin and Dan have two brain cells between the two of them... with Dan owning both of them.
Arin confidently stating the wrong thing could be its own three hour compilation. The obvious arrow on the floor in Link's Awakening is a prime example.

Real talk, I think Arin's eye/ewe issue stems from the fact that the name for Y is pronounced "wye," starting with a W sound, so if he hears someone say "Y" he thinks W to himself first. The same phenomenon occurred once when he said "FYI" and then tried to say it as a word, and he said something like "F-wee. Fwee." It's not "Arin can't spell eye," it's "Arin has to think for an extra second to get from 'wye' to Y because he takes a detour to W."

Arin’s brain fascinates me so much. He’s made me question so much about how we look things, I’m sure all of it is just him verbalizing his ADHD intrusive thoughts but he still leaves me flabbergasted into thinking what he’s saying is technically true of you really think about it 😂😂

Arin's ADHD rant is more relatable then I'd like to admit 💀
It's a crude explanation, but Arin's "brain juice" rant actually does describe the role of dopamine in the human brain and how people with ADHD have lower/irregular dopamine levels
Yeah it was one of the more profound things he's ever said and it's just being said using far too basic vocabulary for others to take it seriously, but it's describing a complex and real thing that affects his brain and others' brains, so if you're just laughing at the simplistic verbiage you're overlooking the real concept behind the words.
That was him being smart instead of dumb, but it was phrased in simplistic terminology so it doesn't get any respect. It was not articulate, but it was understandable.

My favorite thing about the E-Y-E thing is that it was a perfect example of Dan chastising Arin for something stupid. Idk if anyone remembers this, but in Mario 64, Dan had an opportunity to tear into him, but didn't because he forgot about it. People were like "Dan's too nice." It just makes me laugh in retrospect.
This one's great because it's mostly Arin but every time Dan's the one to say something completely insane, it 100% catches me off guard
