I love this patter!. I made 10 from 6 inch white and gold cardstock. I taped the folded tips with invisible tape and then punched my holes. Made it easy to fold into shape and reinforced the holes. Thanks again for pattern.
Hi Sam, so beautiful. Lovely little extra gift holders. The small ones are a great idea if someone pops in. A little something special for them at Christmas time. 4 years later n still inspiring n putting a smile on my face. Thank you as always x
I love these boxes!! Can’t wait to make them for Christmas gifts. You are such an amazing person to show us all of your wonderful creations. You are my favorite crafter to watch!!
I love making horse for my craft fair. They are called German bells. So easy to mass produce. I have always glued them closed but your idea to make it a gift box is awesome! The big one you made is beautiful. I wouldn’t mind that one under my tree. Thank you for sharing!
What a cute box must try this the 12x12 box is stunning in that deep purple colour thanks again for sharing with us you are amazingly generous and kind x
Gorgeous in these papers. I know them as German bells. I made them many years ago and attached a little bell to the centre point at the bottom. Time to make some more I think! Thank you for sharing this x
What a Nice treeholder. I make every year 25 gifts for the children of my church and hang Them in the Christmas tree. So this is my next gift to make. Thanks you for all your great idees.
I love these, they remind me of yesteryear! We used to call them German Christmas bells when I was growing up, but I am not sure where that started. Yours are beautiful! Blessings, Darby
You’ve reminded me of when my children were little, I always had hanging chocolate on it that wasn’t to be eaten until taking the tree down because that to me was always a chore.....I was very particular about putting everything away carefully in the correct boxes. Then everything for the tree in one big box, for the fireplace in another etc so munching on chocolate made it easier. As the children got older they understood that it maked it so much easier for the next year. My first grandchild got married this year so I think I’ll tell him about it and make 6 of the small ones to start it off. Thank you for bringing a lovely memory back to warm my heart 💕 bye for now 💁
Last year I used candy canes and some of your treat boxes to decorate my tree, and my family loved it. (And cleanup was easy.) I can't wait to do this box for this year's tree!
Well needless to say, I love a bit of origami. Especially when they are not only a good looking item, but useful useful too. I like these. Yes it's an old item, but for those that don't know, the instructions are great. Loving the white and gold papers you used. Very pretty. As always, thanks for sharing your talent Sam. 😀

Hi Sam, I’m loving your videos & I am an avid fan. I recently made your 6x4 photo album & love it. I don’t know how to make a box big enough, even a sheet of 12x12 won’t be big enough for the base. I’m not that experienced & I’ll be honest I’m stumped. Could I please ask for some suggestions on how to proceed with this. I don’t do Facebook or anything like that. Best wishes. 🌺
Sam these are beautiful would they work with card because I can’t get paper pads from the works in a 12x12 they’re all card stock , but they do 6x6 in paper pads and not card lol xx
