@@bigretrostudio You're right! The ANBERNIC 405V Wood Grain Edition and the PowKiddy X55 are equally both my top favorites this year. Then there is the Purple PowKiddy B30 I just ordered a few weeks ago and it should be coming this week according to my shipment updates. So excited for that one. I chose the B30 over many handhelds I had planned to purchase. I chose the B30 over the Analogue Pocket, over the Miyoo Minis, over the 35XX and over the Trimui Smart Brick that may or may not be released sometime in the future. I chose the X55 over the Trimui Smart Pro and over the RP3 Plus. I chose the Wood Grain 405V over all other portrait based handhelds that was released this year.
Powkiddy x55 with a September JELOS build is the best PS1 and lower handheld imo. It also plays a lot of N64/DC/PSP and NDS with some settings tweaks. I would say 70% really well. E erything PS1 and below plays perfect

I'm hesitating between rgb30 and x55. I really like the big screen, I play at home I don't mind portability. I'm mostly a 8/16bit player, I like a few ps1. Can you confirm me ps1 is running well? I promise you, if you hate small devices with tiny screens that cramp your hands after 5 minutes of use, once you use a larger device with a large screen you will never go back to a 3.5" hand cramp device. They are dead to me. All of them. Anything with a screen under 5" isnt even a remote consideration. Thank me later :) I have no idea how people use those tiny, horribly uncomfortable devices either. x55 will cure you of them forever
So glad the Powkiddy X28 finally get the mention it deserved as one of the best device of 2023! Love mine, definitively prefering it over my Retroid 3+. Bigger screen and face buttons, better ergonomics and sound… The minuscule RP3+ face buttons really pulled me off, even if I have rather medium/small hands. Great video with beautiful shots overall :)
rg35xx or steam deck is all i need. i have many other great handhelds but those are the two i end up using most of the time. obv the rg35xx plus is just an upgrade all the way around so that's worth it

All the super cheap devices are a skip. Nearly everything around a $100 or less have a 3.5” screen so it doesn’t make sense to save like $15 to buy a Miyoo Mini or RG35xx when you could get a notably better RK3566 powered device and save yourself the hassle of “outgrowing” a starter device or wanting joysticks. pOcKeTaBiLiTy is a dumb argument, IMO. There is no reason to stuff one of these handhelds in your pocket. You guys are adults l, not children, and do not need vidya distraction at every possible moment. Grow up, touch a tit, get a girlfriend, join us in reality.

I'd like to get myself a retrogaming console but I can't decide the best buy for me. I'm undecided between Powkiddy 30rgb, Miyoo mini plus, Rg35xxx H and the one i just found out in this video Retroid pocket 2s. My two main criteria are price within 100 euros and how well they emulate all the games, especially psp and ps1. Could you help?

You would have to manually reflash it or somehow figure out how to go into the language settings and change to English and then side load the apps by getting the apk files. I personally am not aware of any, but I see a lot of ads here where they rebrand the rgb20s and sell them as something else with double the price. Please don't fall for that. The links I mentioned are from a reliable site which I advertised for more than a year now. 👍🏻

@@bigretrostudio absolutely mate think rog phone 7 (snap 8 gen 2) with added dedicated features and attached controls absolute beast mate and also for better color on display I've seen go into the settings and choose either boosted or standard 2 for the colours makes it pop and I've still got a modded ps vita OLED AAA condition and no joke the Odin 2 screen is looking as close to OLED as youl get it is awesome cod mobile is a blast and with games like King Arthur legends rise warzone mobile division resurgence rainbow six etc absolutely mental mate x86 grade active cooling you won't be disappointed mate 💯💯

Both are great! It only depends on your personal preference :) I'm still waiting to get my RG35XX Plus.
I had a rg35xx, the back triggers really arch your finger. I'm an adult with normal hands, after a few dozens minutes it is really uncomfortable.
