Hello! please do an episode on Geckos, the most diverse group of lizards! I love them so much, so many shapes, sizes and forms. Greens, yellows, oranges, blues, half an inch to 18 inches, arboreal, terrestrial, and some even glide!
I don't think pythons shiver to keep their eggs warm. The equatorial tropics is warm enough to incubate eggs. They stay around the eggs to protect from predators because they lay on the ground where they are vulnerable to any digging animal, which are numerous.
There actually are measurements of brooding pythons keeping their eggs at higher temperatures than the surrounding air through shivering. So they are indeed able to warm the eggs this way.

I love this channel and it's hosts.
Me too
I imagine the hosts as Siamese twins
