I think the best deviled eggs are simple. The mixture should just be the egg yolk, mayo, yellow mustard, salt, and pepper. Pipe in, and garnish with paprika and maybe some bacon.
As far as my personal taste goes, I agree with you. I like keeping the simple classics simple and classic! If I want to elevate a classic, I first look into getting higher-quality ingredients
Exactly I'm a deviled egg purest for me I mash the egg yolks add a little melted butter ( makes them fluffy) mayo dill weed and garnish with dill weed, I've never cared for paprika ✌️
Today's lesson for me is to put vinegar in with the water to make the shell peel off easier. It makes sense and will do this going forward. All those styles look good!

I'm a self proclaimed deviled egg expert, lol, I love the things. I keep it fairly simple. Mayo, a little dijon mustard, dill or sweet relish... whichever I have on hand. A dash of cayenne pepper. Garnish finished eggs with lots of smoked paprika. Yum!
Classic Southern Deviled Eggs are made with mayo, mustard, sweet pickle(relish), salt and pepper. That same base is used for potato salad too. Tuna and chicken salad as well. If you’re REALLY country, add a lil purple onion and sugar to the base. Perfection, baby. 😩🔥🤞🏾
Who had a doubt that Oprah wouldn't win this, she nailed the standard with a tinge of spicy fusion. End of the day it's just deviled eggs, u don't need to overpower tha tried and tested
OK I’m pretty sure I would win this contest because my deviled eggs are like a combination of the best parts of all of them. I hand mix the yolks but I mix them until they’re smooth, include mayo smoked paprika Worcestershire mustard and some chives. Then I top it with bigger slices of bacon. By keeping the bacon slices a little bit bigger you keep the crunch from the bacon so it complements the smooth deviled egg really well. If you were to crumble the bacon up it would mush into the filling of the egg more and he wouldn’t keep as much of the crunch. It’s still bite-size but it’s much larger than the crumbles. Although I will say I like the idea of mixing in the cream cheese I might have to try that I think it would make a really nice smooth filling.
Mine is Scoop of Mayo Squirt of Ranch Scoop of sweet pickle relish Dash of Tony’s Dash of pepper Dash of garlic Mix put in eggs and sprinkle over paprika That’s how deviled eggs are supposed to be!
Best deviled eggs EVER: yellow mustard, Mayo, salt blend until really smooth. Top with a small dollop of wasabi sauce and some crumbled bacon!! I don’t really like wasabi normally but the small amount of spice and tang mixed with the creaminess of the filling and combined with that salty crunch from the bacon!! Omg so good lol.
In mine i put mayonnaise, curry powder, dijon mustard, chopped sweetened pickles, salt and white pepper and smoked paprika on top! If I don’t have any pickles, i use dijon honey mustard 👌🏽
OK... JUST MY 2 Cents ~ If you leave the eggs in the ice bath (cover pot) and shake vigorously for just 5 seconds... THE EGGS PEEL THEMSELVES! SWEAR! Also ~ I have made Ida's eggs and if you top with a "dash" LOL of Trader Joe's " Everything Bagel" spice. A M A Z I N G!! IMHO Katie is lots of fun to watch!!! I would love to see Celebrity "Avocado toast" recipes.
For filling I use worcester sauce (probably misspelled that), yellow mustard, mayo, a little bit of pickle juice, cracked black pepper, and of course the yolks. Then to top, a sprinkle of paprika and fresh chives
I just made devil eggs. Mine are closest to Oprah's. I think I will try Joanna's just to try something different. I love anything with candied Bacon. So I'm pretty sure it wont disappoint. lol

I make these amazing cilantro, mint and lime devilled eggs. Obviously they are nothing close to traditional, but I put a little bit of chilli, cilantro, mint and lime juice in a blender so that it forms a rough paste and then I add it to the yolks with a bit of salt and homemade whole egg mayonnaise and oh my goodness it is so bloody delicious!

I cut the top tip off the egg and a sliver off the bottom of the egg. Then cut the standing egg in half. It makes egg cups. They stand up and take up less space.
