To be a succesful investor you certainly don't need a partner. But if you have the wrong partner it certainly can effect your investing strategies in a negative way.

I'm a single lady, and I do spend quite a bit of time reading about and studying investing. Also working full time. There are so many different people and relationships, so make sure you are on the same page and share values.
Ramsay even mentions relationships. Relationships aren’t necessarily a partner, it can be employer it can be friends it can be building a rapport, in short it basically means making friends and staying true is important. You do have to establish a business relationship if you do any kind of business and that counts too.
I represent the 5% female minority of your audience, and I suspect it could be higher. The women I know are fearful of the risk of investing. My younger brother and my 91-year-old dad introduced me to your channel. Thank you for all your information, I have learned so much. I have only been investing for almost a year. Good points made here. My husband does real estate investing and does not mind the hassle with tenants, etc. Also, you made a good point about "financial advisors."😅 The best relationship of all is relationship with Jesus Christ. He encouraged investing, as in the parable of the talents.😊

Hmmm…I think more important is risk management, diversification, allocation, rebalancing, and buying quality. And a vision and a goal for the money. Frugality is also key.
Investing is like going hunting. The man hunts. The woman guards the house. And try to avoid superfluous risks. It's human nature. Although we now have all the same rights, we are not equal. Our ancestral genes survive. So the man invests to hunt for money and then looks for someone who wants to spend that money in exchange for company and offspring. We haven't changed that much in the last 300,000 years.

Although I don't believe its true in every case I do believe its probably true in the majority of cases. Women generally are not good for growing wealth especially women from western countries. I have been separated now for almost a year and I have accomplished probably more in the past year from a financial as a single father with sole custody of my kid than I did in ten years of marriage. Most women in this country are to selfish and hypergamous to build an empire with you. But they sure will wait at the finish line after you have sacrificed for years to attain wealth and then get you to spend it on them.

BUT…the quickest way for most of us to double our net worth and purchasing power is to get married. I am a very successful professional as is my wife. Her salary pays for our lifestyle and expenses and my salary goes into all our investments. Win win. Just a thought. Love you guys👍🏻
I have to disagree that a relationship costs a man more than being single. As a man married to a Filipina I save money in many ways. I no longer need to eat out since my meals are cooked for me. I don't need a housekeeper since my house is always clean, and I don't need to pay for sex since my wife wants it more than I do. Your milage may vary.
In your case you may be able to disagree. But I think Ethan might be referring to dating/relationships in the western society. And of course this video won't apply to every single person. Shout out from Davao City 🙂
