I think "Woke" has become the most misused and misunderstood word of the century especially by members of Congress. Definition - Woke is a word that originated in the African American culture and means "Alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination." So what does it say about people who say they want to get rid of Woke? That they don't care how people are treated and they want to become bigots????

He's got a full set of teeth he puts in a glass at night, a 6th grade education (he says he done larnt all he needed by then), and he owns a Rolex that he bought in Mexico for $5.
He also owns several caps, including magat ones and one that says "Vietnam Vet". The dude is only 65.
On March 29, 1973 the last U.S. combat troops left South Vietnam, ending direct U.S. military involvement in the Vietnam War. That was 50 years ago, so he was only 15 when the last of the troops _left_ Vietnam.
When I told him this, he stammered a bit, then said he lied about his age so he could do his "patriotic duty" and joined the Army at age 12.
I've noticed that he likes to wear his "Vietnam Vet" hat when he goes to restaurants that give discounts to veterans. These "patriots" have no problem with stealing valor, but have no respect at all for LGBTQ and POC who gave their lives or became disabled because of their service to the US military.

I’m trying to figure out when the term “WOKE” got hijacked and thrown in to politics. The term “Woke” was used by the black community in terms of learning more about our culture, history and self awareness…no one in this video gave a correct response in terms of being “WOKE”. We won’t even bother asking for this back, y’all can keep it…

They hijacked it when they found out what it meant. They knew it was exposing them so they had to demonize it. They did that by redefining it and propagandizing it. Now these mountain ppl took it and turned that into a whole other level of deviousness.
They can't even put into words what they feel so strongly against. I hope they see this and realize that the only sheep here have been them this whole time.

@@blackout07blue If the discussion right now was an honest, good-faith discussion targeting any extreme cases where for some reason kids were getting castrated, and setting ground rules that puts that off limits, then I wouldn't have a problem. Right now, conservatives are nut-picking for any fringe cases where this may be happening and using that to spark a moral panic against any gender-affirming care. The fact of the matter is that if there is any castration of minors happening, it's in extremely fringe cases but the conservatives are acting like it's the norm rather than the exception.

That'd probably eliminate the majority of voting age americans right now. Sad, but likely true.
Being able to read and write doesn't mean that enables a person to explain how our government works, or the meaning of the U.S. Constitution and all the amendments. The majority of American adults couldn't pass a U.S. citizenship test.
I agree and suggested the same thing during a conversation.....if they fall give them a sticker, you tried to vote (like when trying to give blood). Just saying......

In America every citizen has to have the right to vote their choices whether they can read or write. Many don't have an education but they can still understand the news and what goes around them. That's what American freedom is all about. Let's NOT LET RED FASCIST REPUBLICANS TAKE AWAY THE RIGHT TO VOTE THEIR CHOICES.
