I stay silent, because they can't be talked to, they won't even consider they are partially responsible.
I'm currently in the process of trying my best to convince a victim of a narcissist "friend" of exactly that.
She wants to "just make her understand", sometimes after she's hurt she wants payback, other times it's "we've talked it out" and it turns out that she basically accepted all the blame rather than the narc.
From a third person's perspective, all of that simply looks like fuel to a toxic type of person. It saddens me how difficult it can be for a victim to simply not do something.
I give the silent treatment because I need to cool down first to avoid saying something totally reckless

You have described most people, especially since the Internet came about and social media. Everybody wants to be a movie star. Everybody wants to be noticed everybody’s the greatest. Everybody is a know it all and they all want to be admired. Thank you for your input. I like my privacy. I don’t want anyone knowing my business, and I dislike people put me on display like narcissists because they wanna victimize me all the time. They don’t want to be focused on as the evil one they love picking out people that don’t wanna be like them and target them all the time and try to rip them off and manipulate and stalk.

my mother was narcisstic, when my grand mother died and i came home crying, she asked me what the matter was, when i said my grandmother has just died (father side), she said "no one cares about me", and slammed the door in my face. I ended up not seeing her for over 13 years. we got back intouch, and i am glad we did, but she was very difficult to be around.

It's easier to tell if a woman is narcissistic. She usually signs her name bigger, for example. She is also more likely to wear revealing clothing in some situations but not others. And if she is emotionally immature, she is probably still really bratty and will throw a fit in almost any situation where she feels "lesser than" other people. Hope this helps
