so why the dsr smoothness and what does that benefit and help out with, Like i've seen people change this setting in control panel for other games is it suppose to like make it so that it makes the upscalers in game look better? Just actually curious cause I have 3060 ti ryzen 7 5800x and im scared this game wont run that well at 2k settings but i might be able to get away with low graphics with maybe an upscaler?
Dsr upscales res to like 2k and than makes it 1080p. You need to set in game res to upscaled one. This takes many fps, but make games shaper and more detailed, so you can use lower settings. In some scenarios it does almost nothing, but in older games it is worth to use, like in my video of Fallout 4. Usualy I use dsr if game runs fine, so I can sacrifice some fps for shaper image. It is ofc like real 2k, but does the trick
